They think he refused to play on Sunday. That’s what that person is getting at.

Not too much nonsense from them, the usual “he was crap anyway” and the “he doesn’t have ambition if he’s going there” to “6m is nothing, we want more”

But generally they’re complimentary of him and it certainly looks like we have a decent keeper.

The ones that made me laugh are that in a year Wilder will be raving how he’s turned him into a £30m keeper. Not sure I’ve ever heard Wilder take credit like that. He generally acknowledges the route players have come to get where they are.

The increased saves per game and xG nonsense also makes no sense, he’s going from a side towards the lower end to one which will potentially see fewer shots conceded. Unless they think we’re still in the Premier League.

I think the last few comments were comments made from sadness rather than anything else, what made me happy was the one that said that his distribution was excellent, on Friday that's what infuriated me about Davies, he kicked it long everything he had it.

What was the financial package at the end then?

What I heard was £2m guaranteed, 15% sell on fee (of the future sale amount, and not on any profit above £2m), and £500k if we get promoted.

So basically if we were to get promoted and sell him for £10m in the future bw souls have cost us £4m in total.

Or is the above wide of the mark?
