CONFIRMED Michael Cooper signs for the Blades

We won’t know in the next hour or so because the deadline for playing tomorrow was noon so there is really no rush.

No rush for the game but again if we had really been negotiating this over weeks and it was a matter of where the funding came from why would we wait? Might not be able to play but could train, settle in etc.

They might have been negotiating it for weeks.

But only once it was agreed would he travel to Sheffield. Do a medical. Do the media duties and the club announce it.

If they picked the phone up first thing this morning and said ‘the osula dosh just landed we’ll pay the fee’ the above would still take 2/3 days at least.

Even if he was available to rush straight to Sheffield it’s a 5/6 hour drive + the roadworks. That’s a day wiped out before he’s packed his bags etc

IF Rhian's hamstrings hold up, he'll be an asset this season. With a run of games will come confidence.
You don't just lose the ability that he had previously.

Moore has missed more games than RB has pre-season because of injury.
Moore is going to pick up injuries through the season just because of how he plays. He'll pick up plenty of knocks.

By the looks of it, Campbell will be signing, who has played through the middle before (he's better on the wing though).
I've a feeling we'll be keeping Marsh around for that reason (although personally I'd rather see him go out on loan to League 1).

As it stands:
1. Moore
2. Brewster
3. Either Campbell moved through the middle or Marsh filling in.

He’ll be the same kind of asset that a lampshade is to a home.

It doesn't sound like we'd met Plymouth's valuation.

When we were showing them round the city we had our ball boys running round sticking fake “airport 2 miles” signs up and a Bettis was flying a kite with a boing 747 drawn on it in crayons. That’s why our targets all dropping.

I dunno.. just got a feeling we've got a handshake agreement to sign Cooper on free at end of season.. and in meantime will loan a keeper.

Just a gut feeling.

Possibly, I just think we will have a keeper in next week, hopefully before Wrexham, but definitely before QPR.
 
We are crying out for a good keeper.

If it isn't Cooper there are plenty available, Rushworth, Dubravka, Johnstone. We need a good one, with Davies as backup.

yes i think the same im of the opinion the osula deal will push this one over the line but was just a bit too late for the start of the season also think if the cooper deal was dead in the water we would have brought rushworth or dubravka in for preston
