CONFIRMED Tom Davies signs 3 year deal

Controversial but I don’t rate him. I thought he would be a decent signing at first but injuries a-side he’s looked poor to me. Runs around a lot, tenacious, but very little composure & quality on the ball, gives it away a lot (like most the team do). I like the guy and what he’s about but he’s basically Ben Osborn MK II.

Thought he looked good against Luton and again at Bournmouth. There won’t be many in the championship as good as those 2 next season.

So hopefully he will put in those sorts of performances.

I don’t really see what quality he has ATM. He puts in effort, runs around a lot and tries to break up play but i don’t see what he adds or the qualities he has in possession. He’s not really had much of a run out so understandable that he’s not been great (to me) so seems reasonable that next season he could be better. It’s a hard one. He’s only ever really played at Premier League level. So maybe it’s us at keeping the ball as a team that’s a problem. I remember playing against him for Everton and he was amazing on the ball.

Think next season not against the world class athletes and some changes in the starting line up I hope he can turn into a real force in the championship.

Apparently went to a specialist in Germany for help with his fitness and injuries, hopefully that means he can get back to his old self.

Would very much like him to get back fit and firing as he would be a good player at this level if he was match fit.

Seems we have had players that manage to get back for one or two games, yet they then can’t recover for 3-6 months.

It’s not just us, there’s so many teams in the same situation.

I have only seen him play about 2/3 times though…
