Is this the style of play we want to see?

No, I couldnt care less how we play as long as we start winning. I want direct attacking football that puts pressure on the opposition

"The alternative is to sack Weir now and play manager russian roulette again with no guarantee that a change will make any difference."

It cant see how it could make it any worse as we are losing every game and not scoring, there is no further to fall so worth a try.

Indeed. Firing Wilson was a move made with no guarantee change would be for the better. It is virtually certain that the next manager will produce a bette record than Weir.

I would get more points in the next 5 games as DW has got in the last 5 games, guaranteed!

League Record since we sacked Wilson P13 W2 D3 L8 pts 9

Last 13 games under Wilson P13 W6 D4 L3 pts 22

That was a great decision that was....

What he said ^^^^

Since we changed the style ? even the junior teams aren't winning .....

I think we are going to do well at Wolves. I can feel it in my water.

1 -2

Our season starts on Saturday.

On that basis maybe we should put Morgs back in the job ?

hindsight is good, so we are told. It matters not a jot in the real world. We have Weir. Is he good enough?
Should we have kept Wilson, with more experience. and better results? For me it is a res0unding yes'
Once Wilaon had gone. I listened to Weir, he talked a good game. I hoped f0r the best we have been let down.

Why do the words " The operation was a success, but the patient died" keep running through my head .

We are not playing the style of football I like to see, Weir's brand is fucking rubbish, you can't take any manager serious when they tell everyone to come back to defend corners. Hopefully the knob will be sacked tomorrow night.

There's only one style of football and that's the one that consistently wins. At the moment we do not have it, and worryingly we arent even close to getting it.

We can only hope

The We ❤️ Hoof Brigade are emerging from their s2 caves in force, aren't they?

Whatever next? Colour TV?

I'm fairly sure they have colour TV in Carlisle. And Burton. And Brentford. And Rotherham............

One things or sure, not many will be going to Wolves today to watch our feast of football talent get played off the park again. Not going Pinch?

Did you hear Jagielka talking today about playing more football under Martinez this season. Makes you wonder how Man U are coping now they've opted for out and out hoof under Moyes.

Another political analogy. Pinchy reminds me of those far left groups that are so unwilling to compromise and so pure in their socialist rectitude that no-one votes for them. True, the candidates of the Revolutionary Socialist Party only get 23 votes at elections, but who cares about winning elections when you maintain your principles?

And the 'We Love Lower League' football brigade are still taking the hallucinogens.

I have no interest in listening to Jagielka. Did he finally apologise for or even explain the ludicrous handball that assured our relegation? Did he even mention the Blades? Has he been anywhere near the Lane since he left? He doesn't give a toss about us and I'm happy to reciprocate.

No, Alco, I'm not going. I don't expect a favourable result, either. No doubt you Hoofers will be delighted.

One thing's for sure though. The next successful SUFC team will be playing proper football. Sorry to disappoint.

I'm afraid you Hoofers vote for football's answer to the EDL. Superficial, outdated and downright ugly. Appealing only to base, bitter and inhuman instincts and ultimately doomed to fail.

I thought Jagielka looked like he'd been fouled immediately before handling the ball.

The next successful Sheffield United side will play winning football in whatever way that can be achieved. End of.

So between 2002 and 2006 we played 'superficial, outdated and downright ugly' football? Don't think so.

History shows, beyond any doubt whatsoever, how winning football is best achieved. This is the unassailable truth that the We ❤️ Hoof Brigade are stubbornly unable to compute.

It's the Bladesfans' Way.
