Seriki has been on loan and struggled, but has the athleticism to make a career in the game at some level.
Realistically I do t think he’s reliable enough for this coming season and needs another loan to a league club. One probably struggling too so he gets plenty of practice and learning while pretty much assured a starting place.

As for Anel- same as others, he was a disgrace and has lost all credit he had banked. He’s open about the fact he thinks he’s bigger than the club and I do not like that. However, if nobody comes in for him he needs to be humbled by that and come out and admit it. Own his flaws, highlight them and say how he’s going to change and confirm it with his performances.
If, and only if he does that then I cannot see any future for him here with Wilder.

Wilder ain’t daft, he wants rid but knows he needs to get as much for him as he can so won’t publically assassinate his character. He will be championing him whenever he legitimately can.
For me, if Anel wants a move then he plays for one. Put in 100% and show teams why they should sign him. Do that and I wouldn't begrudge him leaving. I was gutted that we didn't sell him in January. He could get MOTM in our first 3 games this season and be 9/10 and I'll never forgive him for last season. I can't stand him anymore. He showed his true colours last season and I've washed my hands of him.

Apart from first goal being his fault he played ok, shame about the goal though

I didn't watch tonight's match. Anel has become one of many players I look back on as hero to zero. In recent years, Mousset, Fleck and Stevens are on that list.

Defensively sound, would offer balance with the attacking options we now have on the left side, if we can get an attack minded right winger on loan, then this lad would be a better RB than Hoever for me.
I just don’t see him as a right back at all from what I’ve seen of him. Looks an out an out centre half

hoever has to have had a better offer if he had medical then just didnt turn up day after get gilchrist in hes an upgrade on hoever anyway
Failed his medical, he did turn up, infact, he was in the Mercure.

know a lot on here disagree but i think gilchrist would be very good for us at right back and even an upgrade on hoever if we can afford whatever salary chelsea want for him would be a fantastic loan signing
Gilchrist will be a cheaper deal than what Hoever would have been.

And a better one. More what we need I.e dependable defensively eatger than a full back who is strong going forward but a bomb scare at the back.

I think we missed a bullet with the other lad failing a medical. Not get busy bringing this lad in quickly.

A few journalists I know think he'll be our RB on loan, this isn't new news as such, he's been linked with us for a while, just makes sense that with Hoever not joining, Gilchrist would be the perfect RB.
absolute no brainer if we can get him with the bonus that he can play rb and cb and better quality than hoever anyway

He didn't travel with the Chelsea squad weeks ago, I'm surprised this has dragged on as he won't have played much football.

I really hope we now focus our attention on him. Chelsea fans seem to highly rate him & looks like he’s has a few games in Premier League for them. Fingers crossed.

Probably is we’re so bastard slow, will he be here before the season starts to bed him into the system?

It was a first-rate goal from Huddersfield to be fair, one that Messi would be very happy to claim. He brought a speeding ball down on a sixpence, and hit it immediately. Absolutely fab skill. I'm not going to blame any of our players for their goal.

It's football, sometimes you just have to say, 'well played' to your opposition.

He will be so out of sorts with having very little game time (if he comes and i doubt it will happen)......he will be the new Luke Thomas.

Fantastic news. Really highly thought of at Chelsea and does have a few games experience in Premier League with them too. Rather have him than the Wolves player to be honest.

Great he can play right back and right center half just what we want ,hope our recruitment team don't fuck this up
