In theory, but our revenue is significantly down so we will need sale monies to outweigh purchases.

We’ll have a significant reduction in wages this coming season though by virtue of relegation clauses and losing some experienced player salaries. I know we need new players in to cover who we’ve lost but I’d expect them to be on lower wages (Moore maybe an exception).

I think Souza and Anel want away. So take the money. We shouldn't sell Osula, unless 10 mil is put on the table. It's not that we want to sell these players but more of we need to in order to finance a quality rebuild.

Suspect it’s takeover related. Looks like we have leeway to ‘wheel and deal’ but not invest significant $$ out of next year’s revenue or raise any debt, which would obviously impact the nature of what they are buying.

It'll have been similar to the burrows deal. Making offers without actually having the money. PA was forced to foot the bill for Burrows as the takeover is taking longer than expected.

Quite simply, it probably depends on the other costs the parachute payment revenue is earmarked to cover Mario. It is certainly not spare cashing sloshing around and waiting to be spent.
