Always seemed a good way to nobble your rivals to me. They can play all season but not against you, meaning there’s a huge weakness and unfamiliarity there.

In this modern day I really can't understand why there is a hang-up about location, surely a young, ambitious player goes wherever he thinks will enhance his career the most? Sheffield to London on the train is a couple of hours and I am sure we would be accommodating/flexible, we aren't going to chain him to a radiator in the Copthorne, (or whatever it is called now).

That said, Rak-Sakyi has played in Palace's one friendly so far, (and scored) so perhaps he is part of their plans?

The best chance we’ve got is that they don’t want to sell him and only loan him out. Still I hope we pursue other targets in his position.
