CONFIRMED Cameron Archer signs for the Blades - 4 year contract

Leeds and boro's offers will only be a loan, surely we can match that too, even if it's a loan to buy option as long as we stay up. Leeds and Boro won't be able to have definite buy option at the end of the loan unless they go up so it's no different to us if we stay up.

We are so tinpot. Getting outbid by champ teams when we’ve gone up and sold our best players. I give up with us sometimes. Absolute shit show.

Boro and/or Leeds may’ve increased their bid, that doesn’t mean we can match theirs or even bid more FFS!
 
Not to dispute the latest info, but how sure can we be what other clubs have bid and offered to players in terms of packages/terms etc?

Is this info made available to other clubs and by whom? Is it agents involved in the negotiations and if so how reliable is that when they are trying to squeeze as much cash as possible? Or are all offers visible on a system of some sorts?
 
In fairness, what Rifleman has been saying has pretty much tallied with Nixon’s reporting. Both have gone from effectively saying how keen we are to get it done to now saying how expensive the deal is, ie. we can’t afford it. My expectations for this one have lowered quite significantly. I just hope we don’t panic buy an alternative.
 
I'm of the opinion that some transfer 'information' spouted on here is a load of bollox and made up in people's imagination. I find it amusing to read mainly rather than taking it all in all seriousness. There have been hardly any real ITK posters on here other than a couple who were told to reign it in previously and a few who occasionally genuinely knows someone who knows someone etc. That's to say a lot on here posted by a couple of posters who will remain nameless, I take with a pinch of salt as unless they are Bettis himself, then they couldn't possibly know the changing situation as quickly as they claim. Not only that, but they are seemingly on speed dial to all the transfer negotiation teams of all other clubs too. Yep, course they are 😄.

Let's just wait to see what happens and if the price is right, I think we will get him. Mind you when you think what United will probably consider what 'the price is right' is, we more likely to end up digging up Leslie Crowther.

If you actually take a step back and think about how close we are to transfer window closing we need to sort things out now or panic mode sets in a clubs start praying on that desperation. Makes it harder for deals to be done as clubs can’t line up replacements or they fleece you becuase they know there is no time to sort alternatives.

To not replace Ndiaye, Mcatee, Doyle would be criminal. To be outgunned by champ teams is embarrassing. To write off 3/4 games of the season as we are criminally underprepared is shocking planning. There is no good way of framing it.

we have no creativity or goal threat in our team still.

Mmhhh. I've yet to be convinced on their credentials put it that way. Plenty of updates which could go either way, and names mentioned which have come out in other places around the same time. Not saying neither definitely aren't, but I haven't seen a convincing lead from them yet. Maybe the Hamer deal was the closest but even then it's always loaded with caveats do that 'it didn't work out do we moved onto others' strapline is always available to use and us mere mortals not involved with football are non the wiser.

As I said, I like them posting as it adds to the drama and a bit of gossip and that's all I take it for. I don't get the point of hanging on their every word though as some seemingly do, that's just a bit strange. So, to be convinced but keep up the posts lads. It's entertaining.
 
Don't worry, don't worry McBurnie scores, gets replaced after an hour by Jebbison who scores and Osula gets a late one, three strikers all scoring so no need to rush, sorted.

The problem is the new players play crap and the defence is all over the place and we lose 6-3.

I have no idea what the bids are but let’s be a bit realistic here, Leeds have the financial backing plus years of future money coming in to afford an archer, just because we went up doesn’t suddenly mean financially we are bigger

Boro can offer serious money as well, though the fact they can offer a better financial package is a concern of course

What about, it's not your house, but a holiday home in Wales. There's 5 years left on the freehold, you then get nothing for it.
You don't use it, because you haven't the time due to other commitments. Even though prices are high in Wales at the moment and you're not skint or desperate to sell, there's been no interest from anyone expect one person who offers you £200k right now to put in your bank, then 250k.
Would you be tempted, or at least willing to keep negotiations open and settle for £300k. 😁😁

If boro or leeds chuck enough money at it then it could happen, but would be suprised if we couldn't match their bid. I'm more concerned about Fulham and Forest loosing strikers and coming into a load of cash.

One factor you're missing from this is the thoughts of the player. Would he want to play in the championship again or have a crack at the prem. He doesn't have to sign for Leeds or Boro.
