Got too big for their boots didn't they. Shot down in flames even though the ref tried his hardest to put them through. Bizarre refereeing and bizarre arrogance from their club media team.

Having said that, I want to say, unlucky Wrexham and I wish all the very best for automatic promotion for

Notts County you Welsh tosspots 🤣

“We made 7 changes and nearly beat them. If we don’t lose our 2 main defender’s 1st leg they would be out of the cup”

“The fact our 2nd string were holding the strongest side Sheff Utd, a side who will be in the PL next season, could have put out is utterly insane.

Our strongest side, nope got that wrong. And in what world did you nearly beat us? No shots on target bar two penalties.

Where were you when you were poor. Glory hunting idiots. Great support but I sincerely look forward to Notts County winning your league.

“Billy Sharp has done nothing his career apart from a few good seasons”

Has anyone from or near Wrexham ever scored a Premier League goal?

Must be a nightmare for National League teams every time the Wrexham circus comes rolling into town. Two games against them and I'm pretty sick of all the nonsense surrounding them.

One of them said 'something special is happening at our football club.' Well, that's true. Being on a League 1 budget and not even top of the National League is pretty special.

Wrexham FC, Deluded beyond belief.
What a self righteous, scummy, horrible little club from top down to fans.
Giving football a bad name with their lack of respect for others and their dinosaur style football.
Well played the Blades, onwards to earn some needed cash V Spurs :), and maybe more, who knows.
Thank you Roy. Glad your on the mend.

As a neutral if they were against another champ club I might have rooted for them, everyone likes an underdog.

But after this shit show with the BBC love in (star struck Mark Hughes and Alan Shearer creaming their jeans to meet the owner), all the constants calls for penalties esp. in the first leg, and the dodgy refereeing (also star struck, hoping for an invite backstage with Ryan Gosling?) - I really couldn't give a shit how they fare now. Hope Notts County pip them to promotion. They're just a shit Newport County.

Always had a soft spot for Chester zoo….
Would be a shame to open the lion enclosure into north Wales

In Mark Hughes defense he said the 4th official was a bit busy and wanted to "make a name for himself" so seemed well aware of the BS that followed

The reality is they didn't really bother us from open play.

There is no fairytale about them. Fleetwood Town getting themselves from non-league to the Football League and staying there is a fairytale. The original Wimbledon FC journey is a fairytale.

Buying your way out of non-league like Salford City and now Wrexham are looking to do is not much of a fairytale. Wrexham are a former Football League club, one of the oldest football clubs around but just happen to have got themselves trapped in non-league for a fair chunk of time.

If anything all Ryan and Rob are doing is putting them back where they probably should be for a club of their history and size. Which would not be that exciting if they were not celebs and it was some Joe Bloggs funding it.

Fair play to Ryan he has family that are Welsh (I think) and it sounds like this isn't a short term project either. Hopefully they get back in the Football League but I just don't get the hype around it all even with Reynolds at the club.

Not often you see that many attempts...should have been 4 up before they equalised
Major difference was the possession too, the first game Wrexham shaded it, this time we dominated it. Refereeing decisions aside we maybe could have been more clinical but we definitely deserved the Win from tonight and all this about its only Wrexham, they are playing up and beyond their level to a Championship side, the difference from the top of non league to league football is zero these days, you could argue they could be dumped many places but in league 1 they would still potentially have a chance of staying up with terrible football and a hostile atmosphere
