I did see someone involved in Marketing at Wednesday take great glee on twitter in getting a "Championship Football" Season Ticket advert on the same page as a big United spread - I think on Friday. I could be wrong, I don't buy it anymore.

All a bit petty - but if it makes them feel all massive leave em to their egos.

The Star's an awful excuse for a newspaper, Radio Sheffield is an embarrassment so don't get wound up about either or that's playing into their hands. Seth Bennett and the other clowns thrive on winding the punters up, it's what they do best because they don't have the intelligence to have a discussion with anyone who doesn't agree with their warped way of looking at things. Just look at the Radio Sheffield team and you'll see straight away that none of them have ever played much sport so again, don't rise to them, they just aren't worth it.

They will do fine. They have an excellent manager in Jones who, like Wilson just goes about his job. No complaints from me, they did well to get promoted above us and that is that. You have to take it on the chin. Its the first time in a while they have been above us, lets make sure its only one season.

Well unfortunatly it will be at least 2, as they finished above us this season, and are guaranteed to do so again next year (subject to Huddersfield/Wendy/Charlton being found guilty of something extremely dodgy and denied promotion...)

Yeah true but I just think The Star thing is just lame banter.

It now just comes across that they are more happier at our failure than their own success that is all. What is sadder though I would say that if they had missed out on promotion themselves they would probably still be rejoicing at our PO loss.

I was listening to a CD of the commentaries from the triple assault season and it made me reflect on how long Paul Walker and Seth Giddings have been there. Too long in simple terms as with most of the presenters they have been there an age, there is no challenge to what they do, they never come up with anything fresh and simple terms "Big Fishes, Little Pond" and they need a new challenge.
