So who is braving the delights of the West Midlands to come and see us take on Walsall next week?

We have 1000 tickets, and as I bought mine last week, and we are 5 rows from the front (and possibly 5 rows from teh bak as well...) I'm guessing that we have sold 5-600 so far...

EDIT: looks like I was wrong, only 50 tickets left according to the Box Office!!

I'll be going down. To be honest, it sounds like a piss-poor following by our standards this season! I expected nearly 2,000 to be going.

Walsall only gave us 1000 tickets...and it is midweek.

and Walsall....

1000 isnt a lot. Surprised at that
Might have to brave the home supporters stands for this one

I'm sure if the demand was there they would have given us some more, especially with an average crod of 3-4000 in a 11000 seater stadium...

An hour for me. It's probably my most local game - that or MKD
Have to see if I can persuade the Mrs to go with me for a pint o' Mild with some faggots and peys.

They did, but they said a couple more thousand would have come our way if we sold them quickly enough. I just find it a little dissappointing because it's only an hour and a half away.

Sold them quickly enough, having given us them 6 weeks in advance of the game.

Now I haven`t purchased away tickets myself for aaaaaaaaaages, but I thought tickets would generally go on sale around 2 weeks before the game, its hardly surprising that the tickets didn`t fly off the shelves when we had 7 games (3 or which were away) between them going on sale and the actual match.

Oh yeah, I don't blame people for not getting them when they first came out. I'm just surprised it's taken until a week before the game to sell the original 1,000. I was expecting us to sell them out a bit earlier than this though. Maybe if we weren't guaranteed an extra allocation they would have sold out quicker.

It tends to be around 3-4 weeks before the game these days.

Think probably given the busy schedule of this period this is the easiest one to dip out of, plus for the occasional away fan it's a choice between day out in That and a new ground or battling with motorway network during rush hour to go to the West Midlands.

We'll be there as usual, we're also row G Sitwell,

Working in wolverhampton on 6th I should go if i can get a ticket and we get more allocation.

If it was a Sat-di I'd go to this one. Not been to their gound before and would not be too bad a trip from London. It being on a week night completely throws that out though.

I'll be there with 2 others although it's a shite drive for me East to West M6 in rush hour. Never been before and the ground looks tiny apart from the huge home end that faces the motorway.

I had a look for the train taime, just to see if I could slum it on Public Transport.

getting there, not a problem.

getting back, trans from the bescot at 21:44, probably won`t get that one.
next train, 22:44 - bit late but doable
next train 23:44 - which gets me into town for about midnight, but there are no other train back to Selly Oak until 6 in the morning.

So basically, if I miss (or rather more likely the train is canelled) at 22:44 I'm fecked.

So I'll be driving. The local knowledge round here seems to indicate plenty of street parking nearby, and there are spaces at the stadium...

Just rang the ticket office and booked 4. The guy i spoke to would only tell me there are a 'few' left so if anyone else is leaving it as late as i am then you should probably hurry up....

No. It actually faces the pitch.
Really, it does. Would be daft otherwise

To be fair, its so big that it faces the pitch, and looks over the stand we are in to the motorway.

It's actually possible to see the pitch and the whole of the motorway from teh back of it...
