The fight for 6th

It’s like watching a group of spiced up tramps on West street fight over the left overs of a KFC zinger box

Who’s bothered if we get 6th we’ll get absolutely spaffed on by Forest from a great height if we do

I keep seeing this but why ? They couldn’t have played any better at bramall lane and needed a 95th minute equaliser.Got beat vs Luton. They are a decent side getting way overhyped.

Forest are an in form team that is vastly overhyped as in essence they are bang average and will have a shocking season if they get promoted.
I feel Sky try to big up all contenders, I mean some of the complimentary stuff spouted by their commentary team about United in recent months has been comical, eg Egan and his apparently deadly presence at corners and the deadly shooting of Norwood. 🤣😅

They have been much luckier than us with injuries too.I think they are only a spence or Johnson injury away from looking a lot weaker.

We might have a chance against Forest in a one off but over two legs and them at home in the second leg I doubt it. We'd have to win by at least two at the Lane I reckon.

We’ve shit the bed and allowed the chasing pack to close up.
No one wants it though tbf, Blackburn and Boro are doing worse than us!
We have 13 points from the last 11 played. That’s relegation form and somehow we’re still in the mix.

Cardiff is now definitely a 'must win' if we want to keep it in our hands. There's no way that none of the chasing teams will get three points.

We really should be home and hosed right now. Thrown away points in the games that looked easier on paper so now we have to go and beat two of the better teams in our last three games. We don't half make life hard for ourselves.
I've given up on these clowns, time to look who we can get rid of in the summer to hopefully finance a squad rebuild.

A lot of faith in Milwall to pip us despite them being 15th in the away table, not won in 4 away and have two more left.

Sorry, I saw the word 'fight' in the title and thought that's us out then... 😂

Yep you’re right ,coopers done a great job , but he’s played us twice and failed to win.Play offs are normally a lottery and will be again.None of the current play off teams have done the double or battered us this season.

The play-offs aren't a lottery, it's a myth.

The 3rd v 6th semi final results in the 3rd placed team reaching the final about 70% of the time.

And the team that finishes 3rd wins promotion more often than any other team.

The 6th placed team has only gone up once in the past fifteen seasons.

The fight for 6th is like watching a load of pissed up, spice head tramps having a ruck for the dregs of a pint of Fosters outside Wetherspoons.

Agreed. Millwall have won just 5 away games all season and occasionally struggle to register a shot let alone a goal away from the Den.

Moreover, as poor as Birmingham are, surely by the usual laws of football, they owe their fans a big performance after that thrashing yesterday - especially against a team managed by Rowett who Birmingham hate.

Boro, meanwhile, having not scored in 4 games have to play Swansea and Stoke who are top of the form table, as well as visit PNE. PNE have the fewest home defeats in the league this season; not an easy place to go.

Blackburn also have to go to PNE as well as WBA, with Bournemouth being their final home game. It’s be surprising if they overhaul us given their fall-off in form, even if we didn’t get another point.

Apart from playing us, QPR have Stoke and Swansea away. As mentioned, both sides are top of the form table.

So, limping as we are, it perhaps needs 5 points to keep Millwall at arms length - possibly only another 3. The frustration is that we had the chance to have it done and dusted this past weekend.
