They were absolutely wank. They were made to look wank by us as we played brilliantly and were hugely up for it- but they were genuinely shite. If we didn't know the run they'd had and if it wasn't for Wilder being involved, we'd fairly think they were one of the poorer sides we've seen at the Lane this season.

United kick Boro's heads in at BDTBL in front of nearly 30k, Gibbs-White puts in as good a 90 minutes in a Blades shirt as I've seen in 35 years, Johnny smashes a test ton, and I'm sat reading that review with 3 or 4 bottles of McEwans Champion (£1.49 per bottle at Aldi).

I've had worse days.

Before the game I thought we'd shade it, but we were superb tonight and battered them. Their comments are honest and spot on, and made for a lovely read. Thanks Roy.

After applauding Wilder at the start of the game, he's gone home with a sore arse after the spanking he got tonight.

UTB, and well done Hecky, he's really getting it together now. 😁😁😁😁

"We then haven’t the playing personnel to have a Plan B so we are pretty much stuffed.

The Players that may have provided a Plan B were shipped out in January and Players that fit Wilders system were brought in but have flopped badly (and not getting any better), to make it worse they can’t offer us an alternative tactically. "

... No plan B,. Where have i heard this before 😂

he clearly thought it was better to leave Spence out on loan who doesn’t want to play for us then bring him back, move our best player a different position and potentially ruin the squads morale. Not rocket science. Don’t care who they are, if someone doesn’t want to play for us then sack them off. “
Sound familiar……..?

It does sound familiar. Just a shame the stubborn Mr Wilder who had a serious stonk on for his scouse pal Jonny, refused to drop the lazy twat and show him the door in September in our relegation season. But The Widler wasn't having any of that and he had to show the entire SUFC fans that he was the gaffer. Fat lot of good that did him or his best friend Jonny boy who hardly gets a kick at Rangers these days. Maybe The Widler has learnt his lesson.

Anyway thats all gone and is history now. As is Chris. Hecky's the King now. Chris is yesterday's chip paper.

Makes for good reading.

Thought they were whingeing diving twats all night too which isn't a typical Wilder side.

Well maybe Wilders changed then as he and Boro certainly seemed like whinging skiving twats when they were playing the covid card to get out of playing us back in December. Cheating twats got their just rewards tonight. I definitely don't see CW as the picture of virtue and honesty these days, think we've seen that his integrity is suspect at times...

Not the first lot to imply we are dirty. That and being covered in drool after their other comments I'm off for a shower!

“Wilders tactics are easily snuffed out when our opponents chase and close down from the front thereby preventing us from playing it out. We then haven’t the playing personnel to have a Plan B so we are pretty much stuffed.”

That was his biggest problem in our second season in the Prem.

Cheers Roy! They could only go one way with these comments and I for one am going to sit back and let their warm glow wash over me as I contemplate getting ready for work with this hangover.

Disappointed, predicted 4-2, that Wilder, glad he's gone, he couldn't Plan B a Plan B at a Plan B convention.
Well played Blades, all respect for last nights performance. You've mounted the tiger, now you know what is required till seasons end.
Thank you Roy.😀

A decent set of comments - down to earth, realistic and not deluded (apart from the one with the usual accusation of Utd and Millwall being physical).

Interesting that some already seem to have worked CW out. Spend a lot without necessarily improving the side and still being limited to chucking another lad up front as a Plan B when chasing the game.

TBH I thought the obvious difference between the sides was exaggerated by Boro's tiredness, which is hardly a surprise after their cup games. That may well cost them in the run-in. Such a shame after their actions to get the fixture postponed previously :)

It can't be overlooked what a sensational job PH is doing. To turn the team around and get them in contention so quickly is way beyond what I expected or even hoped. If it wasn't for the injuries, I think they may even have a chance of getting second place as Bournemouth are far from convincing despite spending a fortune in Jan. As it is, achieving a 3rd-6th finish (+ anything beyond as a bonus) would be quite an achievement considering the state of the team/squad he inherited.

Boro have gone off the boil a bit and we were terrific last night, despite something of a makeshift set-up with 4 left footers in a back 5.

Hecky has a pretty decent talent pool to draw from, despite our injury list and that is largely down to our time in the Premier league

Funny how so many of their fans saw we outplayed them tactically. Wilder refused to concede on that one in his post-match interview, he has a habit of not wanting to accept any personal responsibility.

Always the players. I have a lot of ove for the bloke and what he did here, but some of his comments about the players still irk me so they must annoy the players. When we were flying in the Prem he was very keen to tell the media that as individuals they were all League 1 / lower end Champ players, essentially heaping all of the praise onto himself. I wouldn't be surprised if those comments inspired the lads last night.

As for the 'View From,' fair play, a lot of good comments in there with zero bitterness. It was our night last night, wish we were able to perform like it every week.

Ungrateful twats.

One bad loss and the comments from them.

Where were they when CW took over?

Nice to see some Blades bingo getting done.

Sharpe.... ping!!
