No mate it is the hatred from you and others that is out of control.WTF!! we had 22 shots, McBurnie had 5 maybe 6 efforts on goal ffs. You wanting him to have a chance 1 yard out with their defenders stood cheering him on. This love in for this useless lump is getting out of control.
..and Ndiaye who should have scored in the first half and certainly should have scored in the second. As with many of our players he had to take a touch allowing the keeper to close him down.Half chances the only real sitter tonight fell to JLT
Not a £20 million striker who was bought to score goals.Who was to blame for the other sixteen misses?
Wrong, we are blades we want us to go up, we need goals to go up, we know McBurnie will not score these goals, you know he will not score these goals, but you will never admit it and will keep sticking up for him because you have shouted his praises all along and don’t want to look daft by now saying you have got it wrong. No shame in it we all get it wrong with players but everyone with a pair of eyes can see he is just not very good, everyone bar his day ones. Pathetic. No mate it is the hatred from you and others that is out of control.
The thing is Ndiaye and MGW were in the main shite, too many daft fucking tricks.I'm not his greatest fan, but I thought he played well tonight. Worked hard, linked well, but for once actually got into the box & onto the end of some half chances (he didn't miss any sitters). Far more encouraging than we've seen from him before.
You can see he isn't fully fit yet, but he doesn't deserve to be scapegoated for tonight.
It's so overly simplistic to look at the scoreline and blame the striker. That isn't what tonight was about.
The one criticism would be, when MGW and Ndiaye are on the park we don't need McBurnie dropping deep looking for work. Be the focal point, but stay in and around the box.

Blinded by the feeNot a £20 million striker who was bought to score goals.
Simple is sometimes better than over complicating things.Wholeheartedly disagree. I thought they were both great. Always showing for the ball, working hard, aggressive, looking to create.
Lots doesn't come off, but it's a joy watching those two. They're ambitious with the ball and take ownership.
What did Sharp do tonight any shots on target ?I can accept him not getting service up to a point. But sharp has the same service but makes a difference by being an intelligent player putting himself about.
Mcburnie does neither of those.
Did not know he was playing unless he came on lateWhat did Sharp do tonight any shots on target ?
Well said, wish some of our fans would fuck off to Hillsborough.McBurnie was not the problem tonight. The state of some people on here who can't wait to slag some of our players off is pathetic.
Look at the in-game comments in the match thread. We all get frustrated with players but the abuse meted out during a game is pathetic.

So you slag McBurnie and haven't even watched the fucking game fuck me our so called fans.Did not know he was playing unless he (SHARP) came on late
In fairness to him he had two chances on target, a shot in the six yard box that went straight at the keeper in the middle of the goal, and another which the keeper saved in the bottom corner.Mcburnie had 6 chances tonight off which 1 was on target

In 2025Great performance from young oli linking the play up and leading the line
