" and simonsen comes and doesn't make it" How many more times?????? I feel l like I'm stuck in groundhog day!!!!! ffs DO SUMMAT.

Flappy mcflappy flap needs to be dropped.....soon. How many points has he cost us? So far thats at least 4 if you include today and Sunday...

Yes, but a truly professional team would make sure that the ball is down the other end. Against ten men.

Twice in fucking 6 days we've done it! Don't they (and Wilson) know how to close a game down?

Thought I'd listen to BBC Radio Pig. Oh no! The live match was Cardiff v Barnsley. Never mind, they'll be on the other frequency. WRONG. Pigs v Colchester. They finally went to Orient for the last few minutes and Keith Edwards was there. Now what is the fucking point in dragging him down there for a few minutes?

Instead, I've suffered Final Score with the lamentable Garth Crooks. If ever a bloke was 'filling a quota' it's him.

That's it. What should have been 9 points out of 9 is only 5. We've basically won at Preston for fuck all.

Who needlessly and foolishly gave the ball away - AGAIN! Anyone going to start a thread about it?

Yes Simonsen has to go, but he's not the only one.

The players best equipped to exploit the space against 10 men had all been taken off!

Sunday DOES count in my book. He should have put Johnson in John St.

I listened to it all? 88.6 FM.

Were you listening on a DAB radio? If so, you need to switch to FM, as they put the AM commentary on DAB, I think.

Getting rid of Simmonsen is a no brainer, however until people realise Montgomery is a liability of equal proportions then we will remain the average team we are.

DW don't want to dent his confidence?.WHAT ABOUT MY FUCKING CONFIDENCE AND THE THOUSANDS THAT GO EVERY WEEK.

I dont think its of equal proportions quite. I reckon Simmo is miles in front. Agreed apart from that.

`q2qqqqqqqqqqqqqqssssssssssssszafcv
my 16month old has just typed the above so i thought id post it!

their goal actually started with Porter in their penalty area deciding not to take resposibility to either shoot or hold the ball in and it was easily took off him.

Simmo has to go as he cost us relegation last season and is costing points this season. Only just read about the spitting incident but surprised no one has mentioned the right hook Lisbie gave Lowton at the end of the game(whilst Lowton was looking the other way.

Long and Evans in on Tuesday for me

Yes I know I said give him a chance , tried to be supportive , said hed improve
hes had it now

was flapping like a seal yesterday , as unconvincing a performance as Ive ever seen .
Costing us too many points

don't agree...thought he did well yesterday until his one mistake...unfortunately he does it every game which is why, when we get the right replacement, hew has to be left out

Since none of his 'edge of the seat' players materialised, maybe persevering with Simmo is Wilson's way of delivering on that promise, since that's where we all are whenever the ball goes near the box.

p.s. what's wrong with actually catching the ball?

i wasnt on the edge of my seat when he gave the pigs the equaliser i was slumped with my head in my hands

Simonsen electing to punch rather than catch the ball so often is, to me, a sign of his current lack of confidence, i.e he's worried he'll screw up again if he tries to catch the ball when there are "bodies in the box" so he's tried to remove the risk of such an error by always punching (and believe me, I speak from experience, albeit in amateur football). Unfortunately, it turns out he can't do that either.

He should never even have come for that ball on Saturday, he came pretty far off his line when the defenders probably would have dealt with it anyway until he punched it like an octopus

Nothing. Simmonsen's efforts at punching don't even involve him leaving the ground. The forward 'plants' himself and Simmo is basically trying to reach over him, therefore not gaining any momentum in an (intended) punch.

An octopus falling out of a tree more like.

This Octopus, is he available ?

Could see him perched on top of the Crossbar, tenticles at the ready ....

Do you think McCabe would Ok the purchase of 4 pairs of Goalie Gloves ?
