By all means respect Wilder for what he did for us, (if that's your thing) whilst ignoring the last 14 months of his tenure completely but I would wish no ex manager well after he left the way Wilder did. I hope he fails at everything....he's no longer anything to do with my club

He did great till he spent big money on shit.
Then he fucked up + fucked off.
The stress of seeing his own failures so quickly wipe out his previous 4 seasons of success , especially at his beloved club , made him mentally ill.
You could tell from the bollocks he began to talk that if he didn't get out , the emotional strain would probably hospitalise him.
He knew there was no solution coz he'd spent all money.
And though he needed to leave by the back door for his own good , he managed to get a payoff.
And he left the club & squad in a shit state , with nothing to show for 2 years in the PL.
 
I'm sure the song for Chris was written many years ago. The lyrics also include "come on in and close the door"

As much as I enjoy watching a good wilder soap opera meltdown thread whilst eating my popcorn.

Can we just ban all threads to do with wilder?

Two years in the Premier league with all the rewards and fuck all to show for it that is Judas Wilder's legacy. No better today than we were when we beat Ipswich to confirm promotion. The same happens at every club he goes to a few good seasons then a fall out with the owners be warned Middleborough, the day will come when he wants more and starts making threats to walk away unless he gets his own way. The trouble is he got the money he wanted at the lane and wasted it then wanted more no wonder he was put on "the stop" Four good years then 18 months of utter tripe the 18 months will be what we remember him for when he couldn't even admit his own failing it was always someone else at fault. I lost all respect for the bloke due to the way he crept out of the back door with his suitcase full of £50's. He will not get a clap from me in fact if he caught fire I wouldn't piss on him.

I have never defended Wilder's mistakes, but I have attempted to explain some of them, with an ounce of understanding.

On this thread though, what I will say is that none of the mistakes become possible, without his incomparable success in the years prior, and for that I will be forever grateful and it's that that I will hold on to.
