We just need Davies in urgently. The left side will be much sturdier defensively then.

I honestly cannot believe how long LCB has been an issue for us.

He doesn't seem particularly good defensively or going forward to me. Perfectly decent enough to have around as a squad player but not promotion first choice full back material. Hopefully Enda can pick his form up like others have the last couple of games.

The lad was at least trying though and is still fairly young so he can get better but the early signs for me are that we need better than him which is a shame because I had high hopes for him too.

I must admit I was expecting a lot more from him after all the talk of his impressive loan spells. He cannot cross, he is not quick as shown when he kept running into his man tonight and he cannot defend. He was awful tonight and looks way off the required standard at this level on the evidence I have seen in games sadly.

I agree Baldock didn’t even get past the halfway line until the last 10 minutes and even then when he got there his attempt at a cross was nearly as bad as Brewsters the other week.

A beast going forward? How many crosses did he beat the first man with today and how many times did he get past freeman In the 1st half. Granted he got forward more in the 2nd bur a beast come on. People need to take the rose tinted glasses off at times with our youth prospects, for me he's bang average at best.

He tries hard, the effort is there but I don't think he has the level of skill or subtly required at this level. He's a bit of a blunt tool. His attacking play, particularly in the second half was extremely limited. Decent back up but we need better in that position. However, clearly not the most pressing position to sort...
