I’m confused is he saying shield is wide of the mark in his reporting nor laughing at the clubs transfer strategy ?
Not so bad if there's an option to buy attached, but it's just kicking the problem down the road.Building a team out of loans is a terrible idea, to be fair.
(I do appreciate that the last 'keeper we had on loan was tremendous)
Not really.Building a team out of loans is a terrible idea, to be fair.

It’s not a bad strategy but with the start we’ve made it’s not a very attractive destination. We’ll be scrabbling round the lower leagues in no time at all with our shopping basketBuilding a team out of loans is a terrible idea, to be fair.

The arsenal media in full spin mode.
Now it’s all about how we dropped our price down to a possible £30m from £40m.
Not how they’ve had to increase their joke offer from £18m to £24m plus £6m add ons.
I remember one we got from Arsenal,Colin Addison.Who was the last player we sold directly to Arsenal ?
The only two that come to mind are way before my time, Jimmy Dunne & Alex Forbes (if I've got that right).....one for Silent Blade ?
Don’t forget the Walsall penalty shirkerI remember one we got from Arsenal,Colin Addison.

And we're not lumbered with the players long term if it doesn't work outFulham built a team Out of loans got promoted then turned them into permanents
It is the most economic way to do It
Spent 135 million so far this summer, sorry but if you spend anything approaching that amount and still have Callum Chambers lining up in defence, something is wrong!Ramsdale’s England involvement means a great deal to the Arsenal hierarchy. It immediately looks good on paper and if he does “come good” owning the England goalie is great business.
The only problem they have is if the England managerial set up changes before he gets the no. 1 shirt, he may fall out of favour and their investment may reduce.
It’s not like Arsenal are short of a few bob so it seems good business.
Think Forbes was the last oneWho was the last player we sold directly to Arsenal ?

This isn't green as yet.
Anybody else a little nervous it's not gonna go through?
Seen it on the twitter, they're not happy.Probably struggling to get into the Emirates as angry Arsenal fans are trying to stop him entering.
Spent £135m and there’s only maybe Odegaard that’s better than mid table premier league standard. Their team is a bang average premier league team, which is why they will finish mid table again.Spent 135 million so far this summer, sorry but if you spend anything approaching that amount and still have Callum Chambers lining up in defence, something is wrong!
