I think Mcgoldrick has always missed lots of chances like that going back to our promotion season but was easier to overlook. Don’t get me wrong he has been fantastic for us but maybe time for a rest
A bleedin' long rest.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

It's Wilder's squad though, so he should get the blame. The attempted tactics are spot on. Don't forget how high WBA are with space in behind too!

Banging the ball for Billy to battle it out in the air with Kyle Bartley? I can see at least one flaw with that plan. And it’s nothing to do with Billy’s legs.

Judging by the comments and likes you appear to be in a minority of one. Are you on drugs?
Not me, pal. I don't really care what anyone else thinks to be honest.
I'm not saying the front two are great at all. But what i am saying is that Burke, McBurnie, and Brewster are worse. Whatever side we put out, most will say "it's a shit selection". That is what we are left with.
For the record, much as I dislike Mcburnie, Fleck and Norwood are just as pathetic.
Everyone is bound to have a different view with this squad because it is so fractured in it's play and so desperate for confidence. I don't think we actually have a solution.

Are we the new Huddersfield? One decent PL season, then relegated 20th before fading into Championship mediocrity.

He has a game plan but not the players to make it work.

He either needs to stick with his game plan and bring in the players to make it work, or find a system that suits what players he has got until he can bring in what he needs.

He needs new players and fast before the lack of confidence and poor form of too many players derails our season and drags us into League One.
Does he know what a plan is...?

Yeah without a doubt, when he said it I think most of us were a bit bewildered. We were badly needing midfield upgrades but he totally ignored it.

I got that we needed Lowe and Bogle as we had no backup for Baldock and Stevens, so they made sense.

Signing Ramsdale made sense as we needed to replace Henderson. This was never going to be cheap.

Getting rid of Robinson made sense but signing Burke was bizarre. I wasn't convinced Wilder would bring the best out of him as he tried and failed with Morrison and Rodwell.

Foderingham was even more bizarre.

Brewster was an expensive gamble as he was unproven in the Premier League and signing for a team that scored one goal per game the previous season on average.

Upgrading the midfield was definitely a priority, especially after Fleck lost his form and Lundstram lost interest all together, and Norwood remained consistently inconsistent.

He also wasn't helped that we had no sellable assets who other clubs might sign for decent fees, other than Jack O'Connell who was crocked.

The Prince owing McCabe £50mil which he didn't have and needed to come out of the first season's earnings also didn't help.

Fair enough. My last comment was out of order. Just really pissed off.

The definition of insanity just changed in my dictionary to "Sheffield United half time adjustments"

Sharp will score goals if we create chances in the box. All he’s done is try to win free kicks by backing into Goliath at centre half. He’s fuck all chance so why play him? We need freeman in midfield, Burke and Brewster up top. Push balls in between full back / centre half and try to turn them. Or alternatively, smash hopeful balls up to them to send straight back at us.
oh and stand in front of the throw in taker ffs. (Not you Osborn if you are reading this)

Sharp? Who made the one clear chance because we have two central midfielders who can’t. Although Norgood is fairly accurate going backwards.

This is terrible, WBA are beating us in third gear. Make no mistake, this squad is plenty good enough to get promoted, this manager and his grey personality is killing us.
