You could post on here and Twitter some blatant rubbish by 5 it would be allover as fact .modern football
Modern life, can't remember who said it, think it was part of a libel trial a couple of years ago,, "People only read the headlines" his point/complaint that the headlines made him look guilty, clickbait not just confined to the internet, everyone is desperate to try and satisfy the huge demand for the latest, breaking news etc

If it allows us to sign Ronaldo, Davies, Diallo and the QPR keeper I'd be very happy with the transfer. Wouldnt mind Olsen either. But prefer a perm keeper after the Henderson fiasco.

I am not sure we can get Cristiano cheap though.

When the boys at Sheff United Way are giving it the “ifs and buts” then Slav says in the presser that Aaron thinks it would be a good move. I get the feeling the random Twitter post might have been onto something lucky or not.

Its obvious that Ramsdale is not to bothered where he ends up, and the club will take any daft money if its available to them. Not often you buy a keeper, immediately get relegated and then go on to sell them for substantial profit. Bladesman I’m on about loans coming this way, not sure who haven’t had a gander.

Arsenal receive boost in Aaron Ramsdale pursuit as manager confirms player transfer stance

Sheffield United manager Slavisa Jokanovic has confirmed Aaron Ramsdale wants to leave the club for Arsenal this summer. The Gunners are reportedly 'pushing hard' to sign Ramsdale before this month's summer transfer deadline, and there is confidence that a deal can be done.

Sheffield United boss Slavisa Jokanovic admits Aaron Ramsdale is interested in joining Arsenal despite valuing him at £100million

Slavisa Jokanović has appeared to suggest that Aaron Ramsdale wants to join Arsenal this summer, despite insisting he personally would not sell the young Sheffield United goalkeeper for £100m this summer.

Yep and so they should. It's just what we do with the money if anything! That money reimburse what we paid plus profit for him.

I have absolutely no faith that the prince can fund us if we fail to bounce back after our parachute payments. Suppose that's another debate, new thread! 😂
We already know the Prince does not have big funds of his own to invest after our parachute payments , but that does NOT make him a villain - thus far he has done EVERYTHING that he reasonably can to improve the squad & club , including having to arrange the funding to pay off Shylock McCabe , who was such a big Blade that he couldn't resist screwing every last penny out of the Club on his departure and , just for evil measure , has retained ownership of 2 parcels of land at the back of the Kop , presumably our of pure spite.

Those who freely admit they don’t have a clue?
A lot is being made re the video and the comments and the very careful language used, to be fair, Rammers his agent, family etc can't say he is staying 100%
He may well like it here, be happy and no intention of handing in a transfer request, its unusual in this day and age with agents trying to get deals done or touting their clients around, that a player isn't pushing or giving a sign he would like to discuss a deal, but it might be out of his hands (no pun) and as far as the clubs concerned everyone has a price.

Pure spite with the added bonus of selling at a good price

Arse journalists desperate to paint any transfer as low as £20 mill with add ons despite noises to the contrary that a fee of £28mill is now being considered. This will drag on to the end of the window if they think we'll agree to a deal that low.

Key for SUFC now is getting a replacement ready before any deal is agreed otherwise he stays with us. Unless a deal worth closer to £30 mill surfaces in the next 24 hours I expect Ramsdale to be between the sticks tomorrow. As others have said the very fact they keep coming back puts us in a good negotiating position and we should screw them for all we can get if Ben White is valued at £50 mill.

If the offer reported is true we'd be a bit daft not to take it. It's a DCL transfer x10 where we can invest it back in to areas of the team that obviously need improving.

Weren't stoke offered £20m for butland when they went down and he had such a shocker in the championship they had to basically give him away for free in the end. I think he's at the peak of his value personally with us.

If we sell Rammers at this stage of the window we’re going to need to invest in attacking players as we’ll have to score three or four goals a game just to stay level.
Rammers departure does not mean we'll ship 2 goals per game - he doesn't make 2 saves per game that are unsaveable by any decent keeper we might get.

I can’t stress how badly Arsenal need an homegrown keeper and a very good one at that. Take them for millions, they’ll give up and pay in the end because they want Odegaard that badly.

My perception of the situation:

We have already sold Ramsdale for £28m pending personal terms

(the surprising part the Blades Way mentioned is the fee being so high, although could there also be a P/ex player involved???).

The evidence for this is SJ's latest comments, plus Davies transfer completed yesterday, and Vieira is now inbound (IMO also complete pending media etc). I reckon the rumours were true regarding us needing to free up funds before signing anyone (and this was achieved by selling Ramsdale).

We will also push on with Diallo and Olsen next week and look to get those done ASAP, as well as 1-2 other wide forwards/creative midfielders, hopefully permanent or loan to buy

Caseh could even stick your neck out at Reiss Nelson or Emile-Smith Rowe. Especially if they manage to get hold of coutinho and odegaard as reported.

I completely agree, the prince seems an actual good guy.

One thing that intrigues me about him and the club at present is their reluctance to speak to anyone other than the national programmes for example he loves strengthening his profile on sky sports and ignores Danny Hall, James Shield etc I think he knows where Wilders alibis.

I do feel like The Prince if he had the cash would make us a force to be reckoned with, but he doesn't and will need investment in the future.

He's building United World to sell it in my opinion, but he needs to initially focus on his main asset initially which is us and get us back to the premiership.

Slavisa Jokanovic has claimed Aaron Ramsdale and Sander Berge are the only two players Sheffield United can sell without his permission, but he has warned Arsenal they would have to pay top dollar for his highly-rated goalkeeper.

Smith-Rowe stays based on the giving him the 10 shirt and affirming their commitment to him in order to stave off villas interest. Nelson is available for loan with palace interested. They’ve got a decent under 23’s squad though so I dunno if we’d take a run at any of them.

On the money. Mentioned this in an earlier post, keeping him around is a risk for both him and the club, they’ll be no more scouts coming to watch him at Bramall lane (or very few), Gareth will have moved on to Mr Woodman at Newcastle.

One bad season and he’ll be Butland MKII and if we need money next year, we won’t get anywhere near the amounts being offered, his stock is high.

Trae Coyle, Tyreece John-Jules, Miguel Azeez and Folarin Balogun could all be interesting. I don't know a great deal about the rest of their U23's tbh

Reiss Nelson is definitely worth a shout. ESR would be a definite no go, even if they get Odegaard he will see plenty of game time
Looks like Arsenal are going to spend big, Rammers and Odegaard, and even if they do, they still won't have improved their shaky defence, or got cover/replacements for Aubamayang and Laccazette.
The criticism for us not replacing JOC is valid, but that's been 18month? Arsenal still haven't replaced Viera, Adams, Bould and Henry !

Looked at Balogun, unlikely as he scored 9 last season in the PL, we were linked with him before, could have been a cracking signing

Balogun would be a no go wanted him last summer but he’s just signed a new long term deal if they wanted to cash in they’d have talked with us seriously last summer. The others I’d happily take.

We should have Arsenal's pants down if he was to go, they've been chucking silly money about so we shouldn't accept peanuts for him. At least we're making them work for it because the McCabe regime would likely have let him go for £10m, a bag of balls and a pre-season friendly.
