Can’t see Newcastle asking much less than we are for ramsdale. Yes he has less experience but they’re a prem side and don’t need to keep arsenal sweet now the Willock deal is done. Daft if arsenal to let that deal happen before making an approach for woodman if they knew he was their second choice after ramsdale.

I don’t believe they have a second choice.
Until I see something with Orns name on it then I don’t believe Arsenal are being truthful with these press rumours.

yes i agree bob its a game of cat and mouse this but after 60 years of watching our board give our players away for peanuts its fantastic the stand were taking on rammy and sander still think its likely that they both go but at least were making sure nobody has our pants down ever again personally think arse will come in with a late 25m plus add ons bid for rammy

I genuinely would be communicating that because of the shithousery and them dragging it on late the acceptable price has increased either that or the payment options have changed. I’d also put a deadline on it, after which we won’t accept any offers. They’ve tried to unsettle our first team keeper to save a few quid. It’s failed and there should be consequences.

Agreed. I'd be demanding more up front and less made up with add ons because they just give arsenal another way of squirming out of paying up which they'd almost certainly try.

If Davies and viera are announced early next week as is being reported from some now very reputable sources that should see us right defensively and it would represent some major defensive frailties covered. Leaves us the last two weeks of the window to address brining in a couple of creative players.

Not idea why, but I think Garner will also be done giving us that defensive stability. Again, just my idle musings but I think Vieira and Mason are seen as the deeper two freeing up Berge if he’s still here. The flair would be in the front three, which is why we’re putting a nose over Elliott.

Elliot or diallo creates a real headache for opponents as you then can’t double up on berge leaving them free.

Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea definitely bigger. Leicester, Spurs debatably bigger especially in recent seasons.
As for staying with us…guaranteed starter week in week out or go to a club in turmoil where he would be warming the bench more often than not. Granted for more money but maybe he just wants to play football.
Other than that absolutely spot on post 👌

So arsenal are still one of the biggest teams in the country and one of the biggest in Europe ?

It’s a no brainier for any player to move to arsenal from a team like us etc going for promotion in the championship

Ramsdale will probably stay because they won’t pay what we want and he won’t kick off because hes a good pro and knows that’s the right thing to do at a club he started at

But to say he’d rather stay here than move to arsenal is bat shit mental

He’s a realist SB - who wouldn’t move from an average club with history to a top level above average club with a lot more successful history and double the fan base and the infrastructure to play club football at the highest level
Any professional would no matter how much they may love the club they are playing for now
Are you implying that the poster who I am sure takes no joy in writing his opinion is not a true blade ?
