Only at this club will the board be criticised for both selling and not selling players…

Spittin facts there Caseh, fair comment. Feel we need a cash injection and the guy who's between the sticks is not going to determine our success.
It's ok not being in a bad place finance-wise, not so good when you're in a bad place squad-wise.A cash injection? The club are not in a bad place finance-wise. They are just feeling the impact of a very slow moving market to enable SJ to make his chosen changes to the unbalanced squad he inherited.

I'm sure it'll all come good, just very frustrating. Blades tinted glasses off, that is one hell of a missed opportunity for Rammers too, he'll be gutted.
Arsenal are fucked until there’s a clear out at executive level. There won’t be like so long as the money keeps rolling in but whilst ever their transfer policy is to sign friends and clients of one particular agent supplemented with young players from elsewhere even though they’re happy to let their own youngsters leave for buttons they won’t progress.Bank balance wise I agree. However, I'm not convinced Arsenal is the right club for him. Leno will be around for another 12 months min, he's likely to at least start as second choice behind him and Arsenal aren't in a great place with Arteta already under pressure and the squad looking miles behind those of the clubs they seem to think they're on the same level as.
Giving Aubemyang that contract showed who they are. He's reliant on athleticism and 32. He's got previous for being extremely relaxed once he gets a new deal........Arsenal are fucked until there’s a clear out at executive level. Over the last few years you could easily present an argument that Leicester have replaced Arsenal as a consistent threat for a place in the top 4/6, and made better signings and salesArsenal are fucked until there’s a clear out at executive level. Arsenals coaching staff wouldn’t know a good player if one dropped out the sky the talent they’ve moved on for peanuts is shocking.Over the last few years you could easily present an argument that Leicester have replaced Arsenal as a consistent threat for a place in the top 4/6, and made better signings and sales
By. All. Accounts. Yeah you were really using an even hand. If only there were people on here close to him telling you he was happy to stay?I did qualify it was an "allegedly" in fairness.
Had no idea Tom Barclay was Arsenal centric, I thought he was a Telegraph journalist.
Having said that, I believe Pete O'Rourke amongst others have said very similar so presume the noise is coming from his camp.
I wouldn't blame him either. Arsenal on £60k a week. Living in London as a young wealthy lad. Hooking back up with a few of your England teammates.
There's barely even a decision to be made.
Forget selling Deane and Fjortoft on the same day, in 10 years time we'll be talking about how bad it was for actually keeping Ramsdale and BergeOnly at this club will the board be criticised for both selling and not selling players…
Spot on Pal, think some of our fans have been hypnotised by McCabe for that many years it's the done thing to be shit on with other clubs.Well ..... on reflection I'm delighted that for the first time in my living memory, an SUFC Board have refused to be bullied, have refused to back down from our valuation of our player and have flipped the finger to one of the "entitled big boys" of the PL.
If you want to buy one of our players ....... pay good money or fuck off, is the correct message. It's what everyone else tells us !!![]()

It’s definitely not the last we’ll hear of it arsenal will continue to play dirtyApologies if this has already been said as I don't have time to read through all the recent pages. But I do think this so called "breakdown" in negotiations is a ploy by Arsenal. We've heard from multiple sources that Aaron has no plans to push the deal through but we'd be daft to think he wouldn't jump at it for a stature of club such as Arsenal. I believe this is a ploy to change Aaron's view on it by talks intentionally falling to a halt by massively missing our valuation. Think about it. Get to personal terms agreed as has been claimed in the media which leads our brokers to believe Arsenal are serious and will hit close to our valuation only to at the last minute after personal terms are agreed to mess us about and offer an amount no where close. That way Aaron might get frustrated with us as we get blamed for it *somehow. He then tries to push it through a bit more maybe? Who knows. I'm just spit balling but I don't think this is the last we'll hear of this.
i agree arsenal are playing a bluffing game saying theyve moved on to other targets when in effect their trying to get the united board to panic and accept their offer eventually plus possibly upsetting rammy in the process 30m whether its cash or with add ons should be the least we acceptApologies if this has already been said as I don't have time to read through all the recent pages. And some of our very best on here. The noise isn't coming from Ramsdale's camp, it's solely coming from Arsenal's pet journalists.

Whats your inside knowledge!?
Tapping up is a bit like foul throws and corners taken outside the D. A blind eye is turned by those in authority..Personal terms can't be agreed before the club accepts a deal .that's tapping up
As a friend of the family and knowing Aaron as i do and knowing he is not in the loop as when he was sold to Bournemouth,( knew nothing of the deal, when he was sold On chris wilders wedding day). The lad reads and nows whats being said.Is he gutted then?
