“Robinson was our best payer"

One team has momentum, belief and desire. The other seems to be doomed.

That will be the Blades on the up. Wilder's gaffer got us out of an impossible position, maybe the student can repeat that feat?

Yeah - nice one Roy.
They really are not happy with their lot are they. Plenty will have sulked themselves to sleep tonight.
Bless their little yellow & green socks.

Like ourselves, the Baggies supporters know exactly where they're at. Both in the pre match as well as here
One of my soft spot teams, as had good experience there first visit in the 50's. Their supporters were fare and friendly, despite United lost convincingly.
Also like to say that I do like the way they have taken their stripes on the shirts, Prefer that to the plain coloured backs and plain sleeves and shoulders that have adorned United's shirts over the last number of years. At least it retains the stripes on the entire shirt which is the way I would like to see it for United.
Thank you Roy, apologies for not posting in the pre match but I did read them.

Laughable for one of them to say its the lowest they've felt about their club when they've been thoroughly overachieving for the last 19 years, as a fanbase they're very lucky to have seen as much top flight football as they have

“We made Chris Basham look like Maradona”

“I think we’d make Chris Packham look like Maradona TBH.”

These 2 comments have just made my night, absolutely brilliant, cheers Roy ;)

They have a far, far better historical record than either us or Massive. Probably better than both of us to be honest, having won every domestic honour, spent 2/3 of their entire history in the top flight and only ever been lower than the 2nd Division for two seasons.

But it just proves there's no such thing as an "established" PL club beyond the top 6 (or is it 7). Recognising that is the first step towards progress.

Fair comments from most of their fans. Still don't like them and have always preferred Wolves over West Brom. I still remember how much they whined when they lost the 1 - 0 game at their place in the promotion season.

As for their team, I'd expect an improvement with their new signings but doubt it'd be enough. I'm not convinced that the players would be happy to lose Bilic, who I would imagine was popular, for an old school manager like Big Sam. I can't see his comments about his own team's defensive frailities going down well. It's like saying we know we're crap at the back! How's that going to help!?

Oh my goodness - probably the most honest set of fans comments i've ever seen.

Very honest and respectable and realistic comments.

IF we go down with them, and it's still an IF for me, I will look forward to going back to WBA and to that brilliant pub/eating place called the Vine before the game - good beer and kebabs to die for :)

Highlights for me are the "Chris Packham" comment and the loon who's made up a red card challenge from Fleck!

I've seen red cards given for challenges like that. It wasn't the best challenge - late and clattered his foot. I'm amazed he didn't even get a yellow but I'll take any rub of the green at the moment

He didn't lift his foot, show studs or stamp in anyway though. It was a shit slide tackle and nothing more, momentum took him out.

The one Lundstram did earlier in the season was more of a studs up challenge and therefore I can see why he was sent off.

I thought his foot was a bit side-on but no action taken so I guess we'll be thankful for that in these days of inconsistent and often dubious decisions

Enjoyed that. My favourite was

"Wilder was giving directions, reinforcing stuff they had done in training
Allardyce was yelling & losing his rag.
Know which one I’d rather play for.”"

Fat Sam does remind me of some of the worst people I've had to work for.

Good grief, what a terrible interview. It sounds like he's given up, resigned to relegation and thinks his squad are too crap for the PL. Now that is what I would describe as a "wage thief".

Couldn't bear to listen beyond 2 minutes. What was that he said/mumbled - did he say if we'd took Billy off a few seconds before he scored they'd have been in it? How fucking desperate is that?
