He wasn't great though, very lucky Wilson didn't score early on because of his error. Then sliced a horrible clearance when we were under pressure protecting the lead.

Still hope it's the start of something and wish him well.

What about the numerous balls the players played back to put us under pressure. He had had to come out twice on the left hand side to sweep up for sloppy play.

I'm sure he's a good lad, he definitely seems it. But a Premier League level goalkeeper? I think he's yet to convince many. He's prone to errors and goals do seem to go past him a little too easily. Even tonight he seemed panicked when called upon.

He's young and has time on his side. However, I think people are well within their rights to be critical of what they've seen so far.
