That's a much more honest assessment of United on 2020. Painful reading

Splendid mix of pessimism and arrogance. I'll take a point from this thanks, but I feel my misplaced sense of optimism creep in and think we might spozz a win?
Many thanks as ever Roy for all your work this year, it's much appreciated, and wishing you and yours a Happy Christmas.

Thanks for all your efforts mate can’t say I enjoy reading them so much but appreciate you battling on.
Glad to see the Sheffield and United debate rages elsewhere too.

Haven't won all season....bottom on record low points so far....you know the script, typical for us to lose this one, you know what's coming next etc.
Anyone else getting fed up of hearing this?
Yes we'll win one soon and if you're it, don't think you're anything special.
It just means we were better than you on the day.

Cheers Roy. It must be hard getting these when things on the pitch are crap.

Very predictable this week and they have a point, surely we have to win one game this season.

Also good to see that they are as good at spelling ‘Lundstrum’ as our fans are.

Thanks for all your effort this year Roy. A must read pre and post every match. Merry Christmas.

Really agree...with the comment about how tough it must be for fan bloggers and fan vloggers to continue their high production.
I’m not posting on here that much these days.....maybe it’s covid lockdown related but I don’t feel enthused about much these days.

Regards United
In the early part of the season my match summary was almost always “played OK, strong in defence, lacking in attack but overall a bit unlucky”
However after a while that summary becomes boring. I even get bored citing our bad luck.
You often find the best teams tend to be lucky, gain penalties and score last minute goals
where as poor teams can cite bad luck, they miss penalties, hit the woodwork and concede last minute goals.

Merry Christmas Roy. Thanks for all the Pre and Post views. Essential reading to get an outside vie w on the Blades

I stopped with the excuses after a few games. There’s only so many times you can blame the result on outside factors before you start sounding delusional and bitter.

Whenever people ask me what the issue is with our results now I just say “we’re not good enough to be a PL team”. It’s easier than sounding bitter and listing the umpteen reasons and excuses why the results have been what they’ve been.

Thanks Roy, your work throughout the season on these is appreciated in spite of how tough they are to read just now. Here's hoping for a change in fortune for the rest of the season.

Not for me this season, read reluctantly most games. Sorry Roy :( you know what I mean.
Thanks for soldiering on. Merry Christmas.

It’s a post I always look for despite the negative comments about us but we are always best with our backs to the wall and written off are we not?

Merry Christmas Roy and a brighter happier 21

Does anyone even know anything about Everton. The most beige nondescript club in football. They stimulate the same excitement as receiving a delivery of A4 paper. Perpetually mersysides 2nd club.

Yes. They were formed in 1877 by Sir John Toffee, hence the nickname “the Blues”. Sir John Toffee later composed the theme to Z Cars. Their most famous manager was Catterick Garrison who oversaw their FA Cup win in 1966, coming back from a 2-0 half time deficit against Middlewood Development Company FC. Their current manager Carla Ancelotti was a former singer who had a Europe wide hit “Bing Bing Baga Bango” in 1973.

“Nailed on Sheffield utd first win of season”

“Sheffield Utd have not won in the PL yet. You know the script.”

Hopefully next season it’s not “having not won in the PL all season they’re bound to win one soon” 😂

Aye , we are still awaiting our first “we had an off day comment “

Last season was endless with the off day comments . Guess they are preparing just in case !

The more I read remarks from opposing fans in the premiership the more I dislike it. Arrogant, top heavy sods a lot of em’ 😡🤛
