Why is it whenever someone on social media mentions cycling you get a bunch of nonces crying about "oooh cyclists this and that"? Piss off, you're not invited to someone's post which was meant as a means of getting people together socially. Create your own thread for fat arses who like to sit in their motors crying like fannies at others who are doing the nhs a favour by staying fit. Now fuck off out of my sight.

I drive a bit, walk a lot and cycle occasionally. Why the OTT "nonces' shit? To be honest, you sound like Farage's cycling twin brother.
Before you took the thread down your own political alley, it was about cycling Blades.

I have a had a mate recently almost killed by a dickhead who had history of driving dangerously around cyclists. So unfortunately I can't calm down when it comes to the piss poor attitudes of people towards others who have just as much right to use the road.

Fellow was cycling to work and this rsole took him out and drove off, the coward. He got caught though. I find most drivers courteous on the road, only had 1 issue recently when this nob in an audi thought he could close pass then called me an expletive. He soon bottled it at the traffic lights when I asked him to get out and call me it. No need for it. Its someone's loved on that bike, and you get these wankers driving without care and killing them.

It's often been Audi drivers in my experience as well. Or thick as pig shit nobheads in their work vans with their or their employers contact details on the side of the van, who don't realise a lot of cyclists wear helmet cams and could easily get them sacked or damage their businesses

Would anybody be interested in being involved in a Sheffield United Cycling Club?

As an idea it's very early days yet and would still need some working out in terms of how it would run etc but would likely be open to all and have different ride-outs for different abilities/levels of fitness, starting at BDTBL. Could be good for social, fitness or mental health reasons as well as many other positives!

Would obviously be dependent on all this lockdown stuff, and likely to be a 2021 thing, but just as a starting block, who'd be up for it?

If I still lived down there I'd be interested, but I'd have to go in the slow lane group these days. Hope you can get summat going at some point.
