Tonight's game...Villa v Leeds

If ever there was a game where you would want both teams to lose, then surely this is it.
Villa escaping relegation last season stuck in the throat , while Weeds going up was met with great glee by the Yorkshire media .
Villa's trampling over clubs in the transfer market to get their man was painful to see.
Bielsa is suddenly lauded as the great tactician and coach even though it took 2 seasons to get out of the Championship.
Both clubs make me baulk and i hope they both fail miserably after a good start. Oh, and don't get get me going about that greasy twat Greaselish!

I may be wrong but I think Leeds, after a decent start, will drop off the pace and start to struggle over the full season.

I know that's tongue in cheek but there is so much more to despise about the Premier League and the clubs in it, it makes Leeds look...what's the word I'm looking for?
Normal.
Like a 'normal' opponent, you want to beat them, nay absolute batter them as I also do with other decent clubs (Burnley and Wolves spring to mind) but you appreciate at the same time you aren't going to get to 90 minutes and say, 'ffs if they'd stayed on their feet we might have had a game of football there.'

Luck tends to even itself out. But Villa have had their fair share. Has it not been for TWO (VAR and Goal Line Technology) lots of technology failing when we played them last season, they would have been relegated. However, they have kicked on, splashed the cash and despite only beating little old 10 man Sheff Utd 1-0, next home game they batter Liverpool, the current Champions 7-2. Lucky lucky so and so's.

Leeds, the current media darlings (might have been us last year?) with their legendary manager and their free flowing style of exciting football (scored nil last time out!)

No but it's just the jamminess of it that sticks in the throat - that they stayed up because of that. It's like Barnsley, how many times have they escaped relegation only because another club got points deducted - at least twice.

Nobody knows what would have happened in that match had our goal been given.

It could have finished 2-1, 1-2 or 4-4.

Being a Saints fan I'm assuming "we" you're Sheffield United.
Personally think it was Wolves and Liverpool.

Let’s be clear here VILLA are a bunch of cheats and should have e been relegated Smith knew the goal was over the line that day and should have allowed us to equalise just like he demanded of Leeds in the championship.

For one game only I want VIlla to win and Weeds to lose but I do hate them both but I hate weeds more...there is only one team that surpasses my hatred for these two and that’s my hatred of the PIGS
