We just struggled against one of the poorest teams to grace the PL for a while. New soft penalties and VAR saved us from defeat.

I can’t forget where we were and what he’s done for us but the question has to be asked. Do we support CW at all costs or Sheffield United’s future?

Cant see us buying a win anytime soon.

But something is annoying and irritating him

You can see it in interviews, comments and in his face, something isn't right with him.

We need the happy go lucky, infectious, enthusiastic Wilder back because this transfers through to the player ranks

Looking at his mannerisms at the moment and it's no wonder our style of play has changed

It’s not a good idea to get rid of Wilder.

It is a good idea for Wilder to find a way out of this mess that isn’t merely repeating the same old formula over and over because it isn’t working anymore.

Exactly. From what I've seen this season, every team wants to get into the final third of the pitch quick as possible. Fair amount of goals scored seems to prove it.
Lot of play down the flanks. We've struggled to contain wide players at times.

Sacking is clearly not an option, he’s done more than enough to earn something close to a job for life. However, I wish he got out of his own way at times, was a bit less stubborn, quicker to change something in games when somethings clearly not working (like the second half today), improved our recruitment policy, and was more willing to bring some academy players through.

I think we need to avoid kneejerk reactions and try to think this through logically.

Im hoping that Chris can see were our issues lie & trys to address them.

Its obvious that mistakes have been made with our recruitment over the summer. We havent signed that box to box driving midfielder (Lookman today was that player we lack) Lundstrum isnt commited to the cause so why hasnt he been replaced? Did we need to spend a large amount (for us) of £ for 2 back up fullbacks? Should we have got a replacement for JOC before the window closed? Should we goto a back 4 until he returns?

Based on our performances so far this season, it's more than reasonable to show concern and ask questions but suggesting sacking the manager? Seriously.

Losing JOC, Mousset, and Fleck injured/out of form is a big blow.

Robinson is an average Championship player IMHO. Ampadu has the potential to be a good player in the future but I dont see where he plays without injuries or suspensions.

Brewster hopefully gives us a bit extra and Mousse returning could make a difference.

The inability to score is our biggest concern and it needs to improve hugely if we're to stay up.

I think it's more than reasonable to debate selections and formations without being accused of being a bedwetter or having a meltdown like a few like to, but suggesting changing the manager is a whole different ball game.

We've been pants and it is difficult to see where wins are coming from currently but we're not even in the relegation zone and have the potential to pick up.

We are in the relegation zone as burnley play west brom on Monday and unless they both lose this match which would be a first , we are in bottom 3

Not a reply to any post on here, just my personal observation of United's present situation.
I feel CWAK may have gone as far as they can in their present employment.
Having said that, the goodwill they have amassed should allow them some time to put United in a more positive vain. Christmas the dead line. then reassess.
In the mean time, someone ought to take CW on one side and have a word about his intransigence, as I have felt for some time now, it could well be his downfall.

Unbelievable, as fans we complain about loyalty and money in football, yet the first time we are required to give it back the noisy minority start to sharpen their knives?
Chris Wilder, the coaches and these players have given us so much and have earned the right to our trust and patience.
Wilders Blades have given us our club back and a feeling of optimism for the first time in years.
He has my backing and I believe that, as a minimum, he should be given this season and the first half of next to tweak things.
Not the start we wanted and certainly in for a difficult season (probably the one we expected last year) but we have a man at the club who understands and could build a dynasty the benefits us for the next 30 years.

Outrageous post. Chris and Al are the best combo for 50 years. If we go down so be it- it's a ridiculously hard league- Fulham today were full of cracking players, and in first half we matched them.

Regardless of Prem or Championship Chris is the man we have a pattern of play , we have identity, what hes done is miraculous, to me it's embarrassing that someone posts this.
