Don’t know if it’s been posted before but someone just rang to say Daily Mail (I know) reporting Liverpool have accepted a £17. m offer from us with buy back clause and given him permission to talk to us .

Not checked but doubt he would bullshit me on this .

It doesn't bother me. That article was posted in here last night but it's probably 20/30 pages ago. This thread isn't great for the casual observer.

It's as much the child-like naivete of the casual observer that's laughable. It's a fair assumption that if some news has come out and it's more than 10 minutes since it was released, someone has already posted it. To think otherwise is laughable.

Interesting, but then he ruins it by mentioning the Sturridge link at the end of the article, which has been categorically denied by Wilder
 
I know we want to gerrim in, but a 40mil release clause will just allow Villa or Palace to sign him via Liverpool next summer. Which will be frustrating if he has a good season. We hold all the risk.

That seems a stretch tbh. There might well even be a clause saying they can't buy him back and sell him on within a year. Or if they do, we'd get a share of profit. Who knows. Don't worry.
