I've been an advocate of that for a long time Charlieblade. Trying to get 2 strikers who complement each other, can almost read each others minds, know where the other one is going to be and play off them. That's exactly what we had with Deane and Agana. I think we've had other very successful partnerships too, like Edwards and Morris. Admittedly Morris wasn't an out an out "striker" but his partnership with Edwards was sublime. I could go back to Woody and Dearden too. (Seems odd mentioning "Woody" without "Currie" in the sentence, but those who were watching at the time will know that Woodward and Dearden paired up magnificently and were usually the 2 leading scorers in that team each season).

But do you know what? I think the game has become more sophisticated now than back then. I'm not doubting the value of having 2 front players who work well together, but it's much more of a squad game now and it's tactically a lot smarter. I think you need a range of options up front. Players with pace. Players who are good in the air and represent an aerial threat. Players who can hold the ball up well and lay it off. Players who take other players on and get around the back of a defence. And not least, players who can be in the right place at the right time and finish the chances off. I think it's hard, if not impossible, to get all those qualities from 2 players. So the idea of having a range of options to deploy, depending on the opposition and how the game is going, is key. And the one thing we're missing at the moment is a player with youth and spontaneity, who can finish off chances. Let's hope that's Brewster if we sign him.
 
Sorry to but a damper on things I’ve read he doesn’t want to come , he wants to go back to London, but palace won’t do the buy back deal. If a player doesn’t want to be here we should look elsewhere

We should all join forces and put our efforts into a campaign to bring back the now
extinct 1980”s hairy fanny.....
just think people of this generation have never seen one, they disappeared back in the day when the Roxy Grab A Granny night Ended. I feel for the 20 to 30 year olds who have never had their faces tickled whilst still pissed in some strange grannies house at 4 in the morning....
I wonder if Linda Lussardi would agree to being the face or fanny even of our new campaign............UTHF....

Probably a good idea to mention this. But we're all reading the same stories which are most probably just made up gossip. The S*n and M*il have no idea where Brewster wants to go etc.

Realistically he's "liked" social media stories about Blades, and he'd be first choice striker here, but not guaranteed that at Palace. Also he knows their talisman wants to leave.

Villa's money is still my main concern. Particularly after their false start of actually getting some points.

Watching that he scores with left right and head at ease. But can he get stuck out ont wing doing endless triangles, if not I recon that’s what was in the 18 page development plan. We‘ll have not of that scoring malarkey round here young Brewster
