What is wrong with people? We've only played one league game. I'm a pessimist but come on.

I have no idea how good or bad most of the teams in this league will be yet. My Fantasy Premier League team says as much.

Some will be better than last season and some will be worse, but I have no idea how well we'll do. I suspect not as well but who knows if we sign a top-class striker.

The transfer window doesn't close until the 5th October. Look at Liverpool. They've gone from looking like they'll be neck and neck with city to looking like they may be clear again with a couple of signings over a couple of days. Spurs have suddenly perked up as well.

Another what? Another person who doesn’t share your opinion. We’re no where near a good enough side in terms of going forward. I can’t name anymore teams than WBA and Fulham that we’re comfortably better than. He’s literally telling it how it is, instead of being deluded and thinking Rhian Brewster is gonna walk into our squad and start scoring for fun.

And Chelsea have gone from challenging Citeh and Liverpool to being behind Everton and Spurs.

5 actually, but rember only Wolves this season counts!

There are genuine concerns and our recent form isn't good but it will take half a dozen games for new players to bed in. We just need a good striker (and no Uncle Arthur is too old) who can score goals on a frequent basis.
 
When we smash Villa 3-1 tomorrow we're gonna get an influx of Europa threads. Can't cope with the fickle nature of the folk on here at times.

But look around most of the teams in our league ? The bottom 10 as the premier league is effectively two leagues of ten teams we haven't strengthened our starting 11 (yet) and were standing still

Palace - 6/6 pts Bought well
Brighton- Look miles miles miles better than last season
Villa- Spent well and will have key players back (mcginn)
West Ham - Should have beat arsenal and spent well last January wont go down


Luckily WBA & Fulham are two of the worst promoted teams in a few years and will likely take up two of those spots lucky for us


Slag me off all you like and say its an over-reaction but weve signed two back up full backs andnot signed the most important position that we obviously needed to improve

2 new strikers Brewster and Balogun permanent and an attacking midfielder on loan that would help big time.
 
There has been 62 goals scored in the Premier League this season and we haven't scored any of them.

Fair question, surprised at the reaction tbh. Some of us don't always have a full glass, it's just how it is, nowt for people to get mardy about.

We're no better than last season and would be pleasantly surprised if we did anywhere near as well. We've got a few better stand ins for the regular lads who will start most games and some of them won't do as well.

Looking like Fulham, West Brom will struggle. I'd hope to finish above Brighton and Burnley too.
 
Im not saying we will 100% go down but watching the majority of matches the last couple of weeks I struggle to see us finishing above the likes of Brighton/Palace/Southampton/Newcastle/Leeds They look a lot better than we have done

Leicester just battered Burnley and Burnley had far far more attacking threat than we did the end of last season and against wolves
 
Having watched most of the games today, all the winning teams had pace up front. I hope Burke comes through, our new wing backs look quick, we are deffo going to need them!!!

How can we possibly identify who's worse than us after one game? (one and a half if we're counting Haribo cup). We can speculate on who, so far, might be having a better transfer window (it's not even finished yet) but to start a discussion around who we might be in a relegation battle with is ludicrous.

After every game, CWAK have an opportunity to re-evaluate the situation/result and make changes should they be necessary. I've got so much faith in the club to do what's right and to ensure we continue to be in the top flight for years to come. We have an amazing group of players who, when they pull together, can take some serious scalps this season (as we did the last).

Breathe, and have a wank.

McGoldrick and McBurnie put 3 past Chelsea a couple of months ago.

And we put 3 past Spurs just before that.

And 3 against Man Utd.

We're capable of scoring goals, we just haven't this season YET.

They didn't batter them, they outscored them (one was an unlucky own goal). Burnley had plenty of chances.

Also genuinely, did you watch the Burnley cup game? Bogle, Lowe and Ampadu all look capable of improving our starting XI at the moment.

As for best window ever, we've signed a well regarded goalkeeper on a permanent, two quality wingbacks, got a elite loan in from Chelsea and got rid of some deadwood, it's a pretty good window.

The only windows I can say are better recently are the one where we got Egan, Henderson and Norwood and when we signed Berge.

More to come too.

We have played one single game, so we have no idea how the season will pan out.

Thread after thread of wild, unjustified negativity.

Other threads singling out and slagging off players who have either shown terrific service to the club or haven’t even had a chance to prove themselves.

We are in the PL, after years of wallowing in the first division. We have an unbelievable manager and stable ownership. We have brought in some great and exciting players.

We are living the dream at the moment.

If you can’t enjoy this incredible time in our modern history you need to question whether United are for you.

Yes but you do actually get quite a good idea of how the season may pan out after the majority of teams have played 2 matches

After 2 matches the majority of the 10 teams that we compete with in our mini league the 10 teams have looked a lot bette than they did last year

We have looks worse and we haven’t signed anyone to improve our first 11 to show we will improve like said competitors

Yes we are living a dream so why not act to make sure it carries on 👍👍👍
