He's a journalist for the sun. What'd you expect? Lol

Regards the cash part, yeah it is. But offering 50 quid and a mars bar ain't going to do it. Love the ethos we have regards not paying over what someone's worth to us, but that doesn't really work in the premier league. We've just got around 100 million in winnings. No excuse to try and lowball for a top talent.

Though in fairness they’ve been linked with him for about 3 seasons now. Their equivalent thread on the Spurs forum probably puts even the Maupay & Burn threads to shame.

I'm never quite sure why people make such disparaging remarks about the Sun's sports journalists - I've always found their stories to be as, if not more, accurate than any other paper's.

Yes, Nixon sometime eludes that he knows more than he actually does and obviously the paper can't get close to LFC for historical reasons but that doesn't impact his links with agents and other journalists.

Compare the Sun with the clowns on Sky Sports News and I know who I favour and more readily believe.

Wait.. so you believe the sun over sky sports? I'm hoping that's purely for sporting news and not actual news..

Yeah... they're definitely not more accurate. They make things up to sell "newspapers" or get clicks".

I managed to stop his tweets appearing by telling him he worked for a Facist enabling shithole of a newspaper.. seemed to work

In a word yes. To be honest these days, I would believe the weird bloke that sits alone in my local and talks to himself over Sky News - they seem to have fallen into the same trap as the BBC, C4 and CNN in feeling they can/should foist opinion on their viewers rather than just telling the news However, that is a whole different discussion - has Brewster signed yet???
 

Not listening to any of those tweets, Wilder has said we have made our interest known and that’ll do for me.
We either get him or we don’t. Like many players before him he won’t make or break this side, if we don’t get him we will get someone else.
The most important thing is knowing they know we need strikers. Wilder been saying it for nearly a year.
