I agree, he's Liverpool's player so we've got to offer a deal which is acceptable to them. No problem with that.
If we're paying £25m with add ons, then that's a record transfer for us and easily the market rate (if not over) for a player like Brewster. I just think Liverpool are taking the piss if we've little chance of making much profit from a buy back and they should go looking for some other mug to take that deal.
Obviously it would be ideal to get him no strings attached! in that case we could reep any profit if it turned out he was worth 50m plus...
It would be annoying to lose him like that but you could just see it as Liverpool paying us £5m to develop a player for them. Sounds like the type of wheeling and dealing wilder wouldn’t be averse too to me.
