Yes, briefly, but that wasn't the statement. He joined us in June 2014 and had signed professional forms by March 2015. He was playing for Halifax on loan by August 2015.

He spent 10 yrs at Man City, starting at the age of 7, coming through their academy system, before being released.

Kyle Walker came through our academy.
