They’ve had it in for us for years and years, from the Chelsea game 93/94 to the Adkins era and everything inbetween but one of these gods must’ve had a little bit of spare time on his hands in early-mid may 2016 and gone through a bit of paperwork. On seeing this paperwork ran upto the main footballing gaffer god and said
“I think we owe these lot something special”
The rest is history and the future involves champions league finals and mixing it with Real Madrid,Liverpool,Bayern Munich etc in a few decades we’ll all be reminiscing on our 30k single tiered kop about that final in Amsterdam against AC Milan when George Baldock scored the winning penalty after Dean Henderson did the old spaghetti legs in the shoot out.
