Around the 80th-81st minute Basham absolutely lost it with one of our players and was yelling at him in anger. I was sat on the John Street Stand and could hear him but couldn't make out what he was yelling.

If there was anyone sat on the South Stand near to the Lane end, can you shed some light please? I'd love to know what he was yelling as he went on for a while and was red in the face with anger.

We were in the South Stand, never saw or heard it, might not have been awake though...

Well i heard this....

Aye. I'd gan back to school. But first I'd take out the labs and then I'd type into the attack computer 'Mr Cragg, chemistry teacher'. Blow 'im to bits. And then I'd go looking for Tom Donaldson. I'd be hovering just down the road from his house, there. And he'd see us, but I'd duck down behind the trees, and he thinks he's safe, right? And he's just about to put the key in his front door, and I come up from behind the hedge, 'Hello, you bastard.' He panics, right? And he goes in the house, so I get the 30-millimetre canon and I take out the fish pond, coy carp in there couple of rounds each, right? And then I just tilt the helicopter over to one side and the machine-gun bullets is chewing up the drive, right? He comes out. 'Oh no! Not me Triumph Stag! I've just had it resprayed!' I cut it right in half, right? And then he goes, 'Ahhh!' He runs up on to the garage roof. I say, 'Right. This is for you, Tom.' He goes, 'No, no!' He's begging us, he's begging us man, 'No, please don't!' And then I fly off to Cornwall and I just smash in the sea in a big ball of flames

From Alan Partridge?

Probably happens every game except on this occasion it could be overheard due to the sheer lack of anybody else being in the ground.

He's a Geordie so you've no chance of understanding him anyways! 😉

It's just a noise!

He said "Cuppa beans, sausage as a spoon".

There's three bits about that scene:

1. The 'stay there!' he bellow at Partridge when he makes an attempt to follow Michael in when he goes in for the cup'o'beenz. What horrors does he not want Partridge to see?

2. The cheery, but clearly insane, 'ah've one in the bathroom. Ah've no cause to use it,' when talking about spoons. Why has he a spoon, only one, and it's in the bathroom? What has it been used for - in the bathroom?

3. The unidentified man who appears and leaves without a word, who clearly terrifies Partridge.

Everything else Coogan has done with Partridge since those two series has been utter dogshit. But in those two series, he is possibly one of the best comedy characters ever.

According to the 'Blades Fans Are A Disgrace Watch' website, he'd just seen a disabled, wheelchair bound Fylde supporting grandmother being pushed along the track in front of the south stand by her two young grandchildren and he was screaming at H Block to throw a kidney punch or launch a flare.
