IF we lose to the European champions and PL champions elect there will be nothing gained in beating ourselves up about it, learn the lessons and move on.

I hope Liverpool come as ambassadors to the game and not with a mardey twat “Steve’y Gerrard don’t let it slip” attitude. Is a chance to see our team try against the undeniable talent they have on and off the pitch in Klopp

Some of the most educated away fan comments I’ve read.

They seem to understand we’re a decent team and they need to be focused and on their game.
We should be on more that 8 points, our goalie has had very little to do in all 6 matches so far.
One of the reasons for our early succcess is that PL teams and PL seem to always under estimate us.
It’s significant that Liverpool fans now seem to realise that we’re not a bad side, most expect a really tough game.
Even some the pundits on Talksport (Ally McCoist) said he has a feeling we can get a draw. He reckons 1-1.
The other pundit Laura Woods and also Martin Keown both said it will be close but think Liverpool are always capable of scoring at least 2 goals and said they can’t see us scoring 2. They predicted Blades 1 Liverpool 2.

Also now only 82 tickets let..all restricted view in the corner stand.....so should be a total sell out of around 32,000 by tomorrow.

With one eye on the Champions League Klopp may be tempted to make a couple of changes, (start Milner, Origi for example) and put some of the superstars on the bench...not that it will make a lot of difference!

As long they leave BDTBL knowing they have been in a game, I will be happy. We have come such a long way in such a short space of time that whilst we all love the idea of pulling off one of the biggest shocks of recent EPL history, the reality is we will struggle to even dent their record. Shoreham will sing loud and proud and BDTBL will be rocking for sure and I can't wait!

Phlegm chewing fuckers.
Hope we beat them so much, I actually like Liverpool, think they're a really good side, probably the best in Europe, but we're Sheffield United and we can beat anyone on our day............Well, hopefully anyway!!

Cheers Roy, great read as always 👍

What is disappointing about the 'Views From' this season, particularly when we play the so-called big 6, is that a lot of the comments are clearly by fans who don't go to games, watch much football or recognise football outside of the upper echelons. And think its cool to support Liverpool, Chelsea etc.

Negative comments, arrogance, would be far easier to comprehend if it came from an educated, informed, match going fan.

don't blame them they should be overconfident they are European champions, haven't dropped a point since the 3rd march we do something that Burnley x2 Fulham Spurs Southampton x2 Chelsea x2 Cardiff Huddersfield Newcastle x2 Wolves Norwich Arsenal have all failed. we need to play well, take our chances, get some luck & hope Liverpool are complacent having a off day

On the payroll?

Thanks Roy. Some fair comments there with the inevitable skinheads mixed in.

Do get impression though that a lot are from fans who only watch on television. Read like pundits rather than people who attend.

Genuinely surprised.

Expected more complacency and slightly shocked that a few have actually watched and analysed our play.

Must admit to feeling a little annoyed about the 'no ability' comments but in retrospect we really don't have any players who would make the Premier League A or B squads, we do have a manager who would challenge to be top 2 or 3 though.

The final few comments are more representative of the average Liverpool fan. Only pig fans can beat them in terms of being the biggest tosspots in football.

just m. a. y. b. e. just m a. y. b. e. we could. FUCKING BEAT THEM!!!!!! just. m. a. y. b. e.....the great JIMMY GREAVES once said "You never know in football because...Its a funny old game

Some Scousers and Media outlets are taking Wilder seriously when he declared a no shirt swap ban.

"Like Norwich, they are sometimes going to press high, but Norwich wanted to play a wide game, Sheffield are a lot more narrow, a lot of longer balls hoping for one of the strike partnership to get a flick-on to the other.”

No truer word spoken than that of someone who hasn't watched us since Warnock was in charge and still believes that to be the case now.

Also, I like the opening quote. I too hope we get mullered at Anfield tomorrow. It would mean that Liverpool failed to turn up to Bramall Lane so the match would be forfeited and we'd be chalked down as a win. Now there's a plan for a cheeky victory!

long ball. kes.. groan.. expected better from Liverpool fans.
we could get a result here. their superstar forwards don't track back leaving a lot of work for TAA and Robertson. if we can overload them on the wings.

Reasonable comments , yeh cause there expecting to win as current euro champions & league leaders but also know that we’re a potential banana skin . The comment about us playing narrower might be applicable in some of our away performances but a home we.ve used every blade of grass on the pitch . I think who comes out I need top in the teams full backs will be a big decider , also expecting Saleh to challenge to Olympic diving qualification tomorrow afternoon
