Seems that we've signed ourselves a bit of a wanker jankerd. Disappointing if so.

What we really needed was a keeper who was a jankerd who was prepared to get wankered (along with the rest of the lads on the occasional night out).

His former club, KV Mechelen, were embroiled in a match fixing scandal along with another club over what looks to have been the final game of the season where someone else got relegated (not sure). They've subsequently been cleared but Verrips has used this as an excuse (there was something in his contract that let him) to tear up his contract, meaning he was available to us on a free. He's gone and done this at the eleventh hour so they're pissed off about it.
