This question is particularly aimed at Blades living outside Sheffield.

How are other fans reacting to you being a Blade? Been out and about wearing my Blades shirt and am getting more stares than usual plus one hearty "UTB" from a passing cyclist.

As said elsewhere, I was out Saturday night, pre-arranged to meet a friend who had travelled in from MK to see Orient get promoted. He arrived with a few other Orient supporters and they were all genuinely pleased that we were going up. A good bit of that was that they all hate Leeds scum, but there was also a real pleasure at the Blades being all but promoted.

Had a couple of Celtic fans congratulate us but most have got no fucking idea outside the SPL

I think we'll be everyone's favourite 2nd team next season the way Blackpool were a few years ago. Aside from obvious rivalry from the usual clubs of course.

Everyone I speak to is generally well pleased about the blades success. Drove down to Liverpool on Saturday evening and anyone I met (we were wearing our blades shirts) was very complimentary. Flight home on sunday morning was a similar experience..

Well chuffed.

Numerous from Slumderland (my place of residence [existance?]; Glasgow Celtic ; Heart Of Midlothian; Hafilax; Millall; Hull; Oldham; Derry City;Sparta Rotterdam

All genuine / heartfelt although have to acknowledge some mentioned the win:win of the achievements (sic) of our West Yorkshire 'friends'

I have a mate who's a season ticket holder at Man City. He was the first to congratulate me and looks forward to meeting up next season.

Another mate of mine is a grunter. In all fairness, he sent me a message Saturday morning wishing me good luck. He said he hoped we go up because we deserve it

I’ve had a great response from my Scottish pals. All very complimentary and many saying our result is one of the first they look for.

I live in Manchester most are city fans who i work with all been following us throughout the season , watched us a few times on sky, love the way we play, not sure how we will fare against the top 6 but say we have a decent chance of staying up as the bottom half of the league is pretty mediocre...delighted we went up instead of Leeds.

Had a text straight after the Ipswich full time with congratulations from a Hull fan, and after the Leeds game from Forest, Derby and Northwich. Also one this morning from a Liverpool fan in New Zealand.

All very genuine and pleased a "proper" side have earned it - not bought it. Only the Derby and Northwich fans seem to give us much of a chance next year though.:D

Live in north essex and work with hammers, ipswich and norwich fans. All have been quite generous in their comments towards us.

Texts from Hull, Rangers, Citeh and Celtic fans very complementary.

Patronised by a glory hunting Liverpool fan.

Silence from my face book stalking pig fan who was full of it after the Brizzle game.

My Forest supporting mate sent me a link to the Egan song yesterday and has been relatively complementary.

I am in Chicago and have worn my Blades shirt with pride, nobody even notices! I think the shoulder pads are too small!

I am off to watch Atlanta United next week and plan on wearing it there as an ambassador from the Premier League! I will report back on the reception and comments!

Maybe you should've worn trousers or shorts with it!!

Work in Lonon, live in the home counties. Seems like I am defined by my support of the Blades. Numerous texts, WhatsApps etc, some from people I haven't seen for years all congratulating us on promotion. Work is full of fans supporting the usual suspects and they are all the same...even the solitary Leeds fan came over on Monday and said well done...before trying to defend Bamfords actions !

I think most fans are pleased we went up ahead of Leeds, there seems to be a general dislike for them. One in the eye for the media as well, most who are still saying Leeds have played the best football this season and, of course, the Prem would be better with them in it. To be fair, I'd rather see them there than the likes of Brighton but not for a few years yet :)

Got complimented by a Forest fan (the Wednesday of the midlands) who was the first. Lots of messages from Liverpool, Middlesbrough, Doncaster, Lincoln, Everton, Kettering & Derby. Everyone very complimentary, the real test is tomorrow when i’ll be working with lots of Derby and Forest fans around

Since the weekend, the expected, 'Don't blame us again when you go down' I just wish :fattwat: would fuck off and leave me alone.

A couple of diehard Millwall fans I saw yesterday are chuffed to bits we went up for two reasons. One, we did it at the expense of Leeds and two, they have seen the videos of the players and fans celebrating together and love that. See us as like them  and will be a breath of fresh air the PL.

Exactly the same. Messages from all over the world from work colleagues who associate me with Sheff Utd. One of the underrated benefits of being a football fan.

Still buzzing, I didnt know that so many people at work had heard of the Blades! I've had congratulations from fans of Hertha Berlin, Borussia Moenchenwhatever, Juventus, Dinamo Zagreb, Copenhagen, Dortmund, Spurs, PSG (bit of a wanker but there you go) Wolves, Anderlecht, Bayern and Leeds (my wife) since we got back on Sunday. I even got a text message from an old pal in S6. And I've bought a season ticket! Fucking great!

..and a text message this morning from a Spurs fan I used to work with, who is very chuffed we have gone up. Since the League Cup semi 2nd leg at BDTBL which he attended, he's been wanting a return visit.
