On sat is there any chance if singing in unison?
I sit (stand!) At the back of gang way E and apart from the GCB there's a constant battle between gangways G+F and ABCD singing different songs at the same time, on the few occasions they do sing together its spine tingling but its very rare, I'm somewhere in the middle and I'll be singing one song while someone in front will be singing another its crackers!
Loads of people moan about the kop not singing but I don't think this helps!
Come on lads, let's be United! (Pardon the pun!)

If you're sitting in the middle, I suggest you stand up, facing the back and coordinating it with megaphone.

From where we sit usually, in the Westfield Corner, it's like looking at a mountain with its summit shrouded in mist.

To answer you properly, it’s not done intentionally. One group starts a chant. From that point on, all they can hear is what they’re singing

If another group simultaneously starts another song, they too can only hear their own song. By the time both songs spread, I t’s a mess, but don’t realistically think it’s fixable

You’ve nailed the problem - the “singing sections” are split.

But singing separately is not a choice, it’s the result of individual actions.

The ones responsible are actually the few left who actually try, unlike the 20,000 plus cardboard cutouts who just moan about it.

Missed this, but spot on. The only solution would be unreserved seating to connect the two. I’d be all for it, even though it would include my seat.

Liverpool Kop bar a few rows stand all game. Makes a difference. Young and old.

How about McCabe putting a clacker and a little tinsel flag on every seat on the Kop.
We also need to come up with a dance like Hull have with their “mauled by the tigers” dance.

Those clacker things seem to be the latest fashion, Huddersfield, Leicester and Fulham have them.

I don't think our Kop will stand all game until the shitty thing is totally rebuilt.

With the low rake, you have to be fairly tall to not have your view restricted.

But on occasions like this, that should be put aside in favour of maximising support.

The low rake seemed to work pretty well when it was all standing. The problem with seeing and leg room is that it’s built pretty much at the same angle.

There was very little difference in the old steps and the new when I stood in the old corner the year after the roof and seats were re-done.

It’s a lot steeper at Anfield though and a proper stand, ours is built on a hill side and not steep enough.. if the front half of our Kop stood no one past halfway would see the goal posts at the Kop end even if they were standing or not.

It needs a safe standing area at the back of the Kop built at a steeper angle.

Get the new Enda song going early on, it's really taken off as it's so catchy and sounds great at volume. That should get the whole kop in unity. Sounded great at Hull with just 2,500 of us, the lane would be rocking with this sung around the ground.
