Bit harsh that's a good point away at Brum....

However 4 points from last 3 games means we need to win the next two to be averaging 2 points a game which is what we need to go up in 2nd anything less than 2 wins and it wont be in our hands.

How is a 1-1 draw against a resolute Birmingham side who beat Leeds at the weekend bottling it! Still 5 games to play.

It’s not in our hands now.

In isolation a good point and keeps us well in the promotion race.

But it was pretty poor stuff to watch.

Can i mention that Villa and Hull won tonight. Pigs need to win their last 5 to have any chance and beating Weeds is the last chance saloon.

Drop the last 5 syllables of your user name mate........ because you ain’t one.

We have 78 + 6 (win next 2 ) = 84 from 43 games . That is not averaging 2 points per game.

Us and Leeds have played Preston and Birmingham in a week and they got 3 points and we’ve got 4. What the hell is the problem?

No idea what drives peeps to post crap like this except to get attention.
Not winning every game of the season will always be a problem to a REAL football fan

I'd still rather our fixtures than theirs.

Wednesday, Villa and Brentford away to come.

Why not? Wishful thinking that Leeds are just going to blow it from this position.

I believe that Villa and Wednesday will be strong opposition for Leeds. Don't forget Leeds lost at St Andrews.

There are no easy games, but I prefer our run in to their fixtures. Our goal difference could be worth a point as well.

Keep the faith.

HH

Could prove to be a fantastic point, no more harder matches than tonight.
If we had lost, loads would have been saying why tale the risk, we should have settled for 1 point.

We now have an easier run in than Leeds are are still slight favourites.

one less than us but still remain one ahead.....please don't rely on that shower of S6 shit to do us any favours on Sat.

Not relying on anything. If the next two games both teams do the same and then the next two the same again, United will have their fate in their own hands going into the final game. I’m not saying it will play out that way but how can we be negative about four points away from home and a better haul than Leeds so far this week?

The performance was the worrying aspect of tonight, not the result.

We’re failing to impose ourselves on midtable opposition. I haven’t seen us play like we can since Aston Villa away now. 4 points from Bristol, Preston & Birmingham isn’t top 2 form. Leeds meanwhile, seem to have been unfortunate on the occasions when they have dropped points and they continue to put in dominating performances almost every game they play.

Too many of our players are having too many off days now. Duffy & Fleck in particular aren’t doing it for us and don’t look confident. Dowell is offering absolutely nothing at the moment.

After tonight, I’d be tempted to play McGoldrick, Madine & Sharp against Millwall.

Spot on. Leeds' performances have been consistently excellent, ours not as much.

We struggled to move the ball quick enough tonight in order to break them down and we had no end product.

That said we're still 1 point away but improvement needed for the run in.
