Watched it last night. Pre and post match absolutely superb, with my favourite commentator [Kevin Keatings] doing the match highlight commentary. Saying that he did think Baldock should have been sent off, so he can balls from now on :D

As for Colin Murray, I am running out of superlatives for how good this guy is. He blows every other current football presenter out of the water, and takes a genuine interest in each club that he discusses. No lazy punditry from this guy. He also seems to really like us and rate Wilder. Genuine mutual respect on show in their interview.

He is one of few pundits who give us a fair shake and like you said, it is because he clearly has a passion for knowing a bit about what he is a broadcaster of. Look at some of the other Pundits who have labeled us direct, lacking goals etc. this season.

Don Goodman on sky is a terrible broadcaster. His knowledge on football matters outside of the midlands is vague at best. Yesterday, towards the end of the game he remarked "this would be a wonderful point to salvage for Leeds". Wanker.
 
Does anyone know what music was on in the Blades dressing room, that Murray referred to?

I'm not one to look for bias in broadcasters but Goodman seemed genuinely gutted thst we were winning that game and he always seems to see things on the pitch in a negative slant against us

He does, there were 5 minutes at the end of the first half where we had positive commentary, I turned and said to my Dad who I was watching the match with "that's Sky Sports Leeds 5 minutes of supporting us so they don't get done for bias" but that was about it, the rest of the time we were the nameless obstacle who had the temerity to be getting in the way of the mighty Leeds.

Also do sky know that Leeds are called Leeds United? The opening thing came up, just said 'Leeds' Vs Sheffield United and was all lopsided, looked daft. If only they'd used their actual name.
 
Goodman was incredibly biased yesterday...I was shocked he got the game considering his allegiance being a Leeds fan and openly admitting he used to go as a kid and the atmosphere was up there with some of the games he used to go to in the 70s. He lost any attempt at impartiality when he said that. Also in games he co commentators on he says there is about 5 clear pens every game.

He seemed gutted that we won. Gave us begrudgingly praise and that was through gritted teeth.

Murray is superb. Knows his stuff and in touch with the fans. Also like Liam Rosenior but seems others have noticed this and he is getting bigger games now.

His interpretation of the baldock booking ,the chance Hernandez set up where he was a mile offside and the red card for their keeper were laughable
The whole media coverage was so one sided all week even listening to jim white interviewing Chris wilder basically asking question after question about bielsa Leeds
Think it did us a favour in the end put them under more pressure

Roofe - fuck me if he never gets another interview it will be too soon. His mouth was moving before his brain to digest the question. Came out with some right meaningless crap.

Thanks for posting the link. Great stuff...Thought the lino in front of us was yards behind play on a couple of occasions first half, and got his decisions badly wrong...So thanks for that :oops:
Moving swiftly on...Michael Brown's carving himself a nice career in punditry. I've heard him several times on R5, and he speaks well. First time I've seen/listened to him talk about us though. Nice one Brownie
Colin Murray is quality. Love his enthusiasm, and sincerity.
He doesn't have to be a Blade, or a Leed's fan to appreciate what he sees...He'd have done much the same had Leed's won. Perhaps the post match chat with the manager may have been a little different , but he'd have coped admirably.
So glad that's all hypothetical.And looking forward to next time Bash tackles it into the net :):D....UTB

Been in Filey all weekend. Didnt get to see game. Just seen highlights now.

1st I'll mpression is baldock could have been a red.

Theres a leeds handball off bashams header. Arm in unnatural position.

Just all round brilliant result.

I was walking with penguins when bash scored nearly ended up in there pool.

Colin murray also posted a video of blades fans on his twitter account. He is a top geezer
 
No way was that a red card for Baldock, his studs were showing but he got his foot to the floor before any contact which was minimal, the sickening part was the way the Leeds player jumped four foot in the air and rolled around in mock agony while his team mates led by that blonde haired cunt harassed the referee. Did the trainer come on for the Leeds player or did he get up after Baldock was shown a yellow card ?

Alioski was a reyt mardy fuckwit, moaning and pushing officials all game. He should have had a yellow when pushing the lino away at that last minute corner.

So pleased to see the smiley, cheating twat get his just deserts. I.e. fuck all.
