I had the misfortune of speaking with one last night. Went to school with him, didn’t like him then, don’t like him now, he fits in well because he is an arrogant, obnoxious self centred wanker. He was positively full of it, what they are doing to do with us, seriously thinks that we will crumble now Brucey has instilled a bit of Pashun at the shit tip, was unwavering in his overconfidence and licking his lips at the thought of derailing our season. I was also talking to another kid who is well known in footballing circles. Former Wednesday player who has played in and still involved in the game, known him years and he is knowledgable about the game and at the minute, and is a likeable bloke apart from his big Wednesday allegiance. He told me that he thought Wednesday would be lucky to get a point as he has watched United a lot. Said we are a difficult side to play against as we don’t have many weaknesses and when one does become appararnt it quickly gets addressed and we are an absolute nightmare to play against, and thinks we will go up automatically this season.

It's the nature of forums and social media that brings out the worst in people, or the worst people!! We do have one or two on here (although they appear to have more than their fair share). If you're going to use a foreign language, at least get it sort of right. "Branleurs" is the French word which best comes to mind.
In terms of the match, if we play at our best, to our strengths, we will win. Realistically, it's a derby, they have developed some form, and it's a long way from being a "given" for us. If we lose, it's not the end of the world, for where we want to be, beating West Brom was more important, and we'll move on. UTB!!

I think Norwood's interview vs West Brom said it all about our players. A massive win, immediately downplayed in the aftermath. Dowell then speaking of the bigger picture and wanting to win the league.

Contrast to the same players that drew 0-0 after an embarrassing and unambitious, not to mention fortuitous point. Shirts in the crowd, lap of honour almost. That mentality doesn't even reside in our players. It does in theirs because they did it.

As good as Coutts was last season, you can't deny that Norwood brings some excellent end product matched by few in the league. Fleck is the same and in good form now and Dowell in for Basham is a more potent move.

Up top, Billy is in excellent form, as was Leon to be fair. We don't have Brooks but the threat of McGoldrick or Madine is equally dangerous.
