If we play to our best and Sheffield United play to their best we will beat them comfortably same as we would every other team in the league as past results show.

That why you're 4th in the league then relying on 94th min cheats and last min winners ya dumb cunt.
 
I rarely take comments by opposing fans too seriously........but......throughout the Albion fans there seems to be a belief that they have an entitlement. Not sure to what, but they really do imagine that they're some sort of Championship royalty, and that other teams are mere fodder to be pushed aside.

It seems that they consider the Blades as a 'little' team, as if they have ever risen above the far bigger club at Villa. Saturday should prove an interesting contest, and I hope that those nobs who wrote so dismissively about our chances walk away from this game knowing that they misjudged us. Seems not a single one of our players would get into their side, well let's be patient, once the whistle blows they'll know they're in for a game.
 



The West Brom fans clearly haven’t got it yet.

Reminds me very much of the Wednesday fans who think high earning higher quality ex PL players must mean that team wins?
As SU don’t have any “big names” then all they can offer is effort and organisation to stop us.
Don’t think they realise Wilder and players will be going there playing attacking football going for the win.

To be fair Wednesday fans are now starting to come round to the fact that Wilder is a miracle worker and has us playing attacking high quality quick passing possession based football which other teams struggle to stop.

There’s always this trend with post match comments when we play top teams.
Boro fans after playing us “That’s the worse we’ve played, one shot in the whole game, we won’t make the play-offs”
Villa fans after playing us “That’s the worse we’ve ever played, in the 1st half we were made to look like the away side, we are terrible”
Norwich fans after playing us “Why did we stop playing in the 2nd half and sit back allowing SU to dominate the game, we were off form today but I suppose a point is OK”

So I predict that West Brom fans will be confused when they struggle against us.
Can imagine the comments now about how terrible they played against us and how they’ve blown their chances of top 2.

At least we give opposing teams credit for good performances. In the home match against West Brom we could say that 2nd half was our worse display of the season but instead we give credit to West Boro saying they were the best team we’ve played.

We are a far better team now compared to then and I think some of our players will be out to settle some old scores after losing the home leg. We have the better team unit, WBA have the better individuals who can get goals even when they’re performing poorly.

Should be a great game, looking forward to it as it answers questions about both clubs promotion credentials.

I don’t recall reading many posts from our fans that would come across as over confident at all.

I feel confident we’ll go out and give it our best shot, I certainly don’t feel confident about this nailed on victory.

Their second half display at the lane was good, but the fact we’ve picked up more points than them so far suggests we play at our best more consistently than they do.

Think the winner of this one becomes favourite to have a proper crack at the top 2. Huge game.

Where does their beef come from? The battle of the lane or what? Can’t say I like / dislike or even think about them tbh.

That's an interesting reflection and one that may well have some merit to it - that other sides fail to recognise our quality, or are arguably uninformed about what we can do and how we can play. So much so, that they don't see our efforts but they attribute it within, chalking it up to a bad performance by their lot.
