Great travelling numbers as always, with most staying behind and clapping the team off.

Just found it irritating that for the 25mins after HT, the only chant that got more than 20% singing was the Madine one; quite funny, mind, but he wasn't even on the pitch.

The fans lifting the team and the team lifting the fans will always be a two-way street, but why do so many stop chanting in the second half? Boredom? Anger at the performance? Sobering up?

Sky had the volume turned down all the match so we couldn’t hear any atmosphere “football in a library”, then they did a close up of Norwood first half after a free kick and he mouthed “shit” and they didn’t know what to say :)

I think the main reason we stopped chanting is that in the 2nd half the team was piss poor and didn’t seem to be bothered.

Good season overall so far but too many of these games where we just don’t turn up in the 2nd half.

But before we put in a poor second half performance, as in the first 5 or 10 minutes after the break, the noise had stopped.

Agree the madine song got sang quite a lot ,was funny etc but I think the main reason why people stopped singing was because the journey they had just been through to watch united play at probably 50 percent of our best. The game was a nothing game and there was really nothing in it all game both sides looked boring and dull to watch (today), now before start having a go hence the brackets I am on about just on today's performance. Nothing was going for us today but we didn't help matters when we missed 2 absolute sitters, billy should have burried that chance no doubt about it even billy will know that. People can say the ball was behind him or what ever but all he has to do is hit that with some power and not down the middle, love billy to bits my favourite player so not slagging him but if you can watch that and say he shouldn't have put that away think you need to take your rose tinted specs off. Mcgoldricks header is slightly harder but still a very good chance and should at least be putting it on target if not scoring it. Wasn't a good performance from us and you could see it. Think people tried to will us through it but realised pretty quickly that it wasn't to be. We was far off our best and wasn't getting the rub of the green to help us out either. Us blades can take loosing to a good side, but when you come some where like this it's not the result that disheartens you it's the fact there was there for the taking. You know if we had have put in a performance like we know we can we would have walked away with a convincing 3 points and big statement on the league table to go a point behind first. It's the blades way though we all know it,we can't do anything the easy way.

My definition of ‘Not turning up” is no desire or effort.
I’ve seen many of those over the years but it’s very rare under Wilder.

We showed desire and effort 2nd half and were in general control but seemed to be stuck in 2nd gear. However once Swansea scored they gained confidence and showed us why they were a Premier League club last season and became a match for us.

Sometimes you have to credit the opposition.

It’s like whenever we beat a top half side the fans of other clubs often say it’s their worse performance of the season.
So maybe we need to give credit to Swansea, once they scored they were slightly better than us, nothing to do with not turning up.

We weren't in control second half compared to the first and Wilder said we lost the game in our dressing room, rather than them winning it in theirs.

Frustration took over amongst the fans second half. We could all see what was coming before it actually did.
With regards to the Madine chant he laughed and clapped the fans for it but from a personal view I’d like to see him actually do something before we kiss his arse.
Credit all the blades who made the journey today. An easy game to give a miss. Long journey home for the majority tonight (and the rest of us tomorrow!)

If Madine grows a beard & buys an old style Mini Cooper, he’ll be fending off marriage proposals from united fans.

Fucking Madine. We start the long ball tactics as soon as he comes on and how bad did we look? That’s why I didn’t want us to sign him in the first place. We look absolutely shite when we play the long ball game.

It let’s our fans down when we start singing a song about a player who isn’t even on the pitch whilst we’re drawing 0-0. If you’re going to support the team then support the players on the pitch at the time or don’t bother.

To be honest, the reason most of us weren't singing at the start of the second half was that most of us were still singing in the concourse and boozing until well into the second half...

Not here to debate the rights and wrongs of that but much more fun to be had under the stand than in it tonight...

Yeah, and why did they play the last post and eveille half way through?

Exactly how I saw it.

We've got Madine, Gary Madine, I just don't think you understand, he used to be a twat, he called Billy fat, we've got Gary Madine.
Isn’t there a bit about being our goal machine after the fat line??

A bit premature given it was being sung before he’d come on and his record..

Maybe change to but now he’s our washing machine ?? Or he was in the prison football team??

It gets pretty regular on here, people predicting a meltdown when one hasn’t or isn’t going to happen. How sensitive some people are is quite funny. :)

People claiming a meltdown on the internet are similar to those who call people snowflakes on the internet, without knowing the person or tone of voice it’s impossible to say either way. In other words, it’s bollocks. :)

The Blades were good in the first half but not very good in the second half, those that saw any different to that needs to see my shrink. :D

Good accurate account mate ,
positive criticism,
nothing wrong with it at all and in all honesty, how most Blades who watched the game would have seen it
Well the more rational ones , not those throwing there toys out of the prams
