My 1st post I usually just browse through! Just a message for those banging on about squad harmony with Madine. They’re grown men not petty children at school. I’m Pretty sure what Madine said it that video was water off a ducks back anyway when billy heard it. When he does sign get behind him rumour has it he’s wanted to sign since he left the sty!!!! That’ll do me

See I'm the same, I don't think Wilder would do stuff as important as signings behind Knill's back, and I don't think either of them would go in for subterfuge.

I don't even think that picture circulating is nailed on Madine, he looks too short, and to be honest Wilder doesn't look quite right.

I guess we'll see, I'd have thought something more concrete would be floating around by now though.
 



The potential threat to our squad harmony doesn't worry me at all because there is absolutely, and I mean absolutely no way that Wilder would risk that. It's possibly the most important ingredient in why we have been successful. A group of players who scrap the fuck out of everything to back each other up. They might not all best mates off the pitch [Wilder and Knill aren't particularly close out of work either] but once in the building everyone works as one, and in most cases this extends to a few beers out together.
Assuming Madine comes in then I would expect Wilder has done enough to ensure he won't disrupt things and in any case how can one man ruin a 20+ squads' enthusiasm and togetherness? Billy had the last last laugh with him anyway and there are plenty in this squad who could slap the cunt if he truly got out of line. At which stage he is back on the M6 with his tail between his legs.
What DOES concern me however is how the Blade who he assaulted must feel as one of our own [really struggling to get past this tbh] and the prospect of old cuntflaps chinning another Joe Public who looks at him the wrong way when he is pissed.
If he stays largely sober and gets his head down, I can live with this, just about. Not sure how the other Blade I mentioned above will do though.

I'm one of those who has queried the impact on squad harmony.

With all due respect to those who are suggesting that the squad should just get on with it, we all know that there's a big difference between being civil at work and working closely with someone who you're just less likely to socialise with outside of work...

...and one of your colleagues being an odious cunt.

The size of a football squad is very much a micro version of/a snapshot of society. There are enough blokes/range of personalities in the squad to have had the range of reactions and responses that we've had on here.

If even so much as one of them thinks he's a twat of the highest order, which they most likely will, I'd stay well clear.

I'm hoping he's doing it right now.

Not disputing what he has, has not yet done. I'm saying it simply needs to happen.
 
For those saying him signing will not effect squad harmony just think on, the suggestion that he will sign has already destroyed fan harmony and split the fan base as did resigning Ched Evans after he was found innocent. Is it really worth it for a non scoring striker who is lower Championship/League one level?

What, for like, 3 seconds? Is that why you couldn't find any of the other Madine threads to pop your thought into?! ;)
Welcome to posting mate. It's great fun if you do/don't stick to the rules, do/don't agree with someone else's point of view, do/don't use proper grammar.
A couple of things to watch out for though; Don't post too many fish puns in one day and don't criticise any of the star players unless you want to be ridiculed/labeled as a pig.
All that's left to do now is to position yourself on the Bladey Bladeness scale (no need to tell anyone. Right or wrong 'they' will decide anyway) and sit back and enjoy the ride.
