Like most I tend to focus on incomings but are we at risk of losing anyone? Can't see Sharp going anywhere even with his ever improving goals tally.

Can see some milage in O'conell to Burnley but would he want to join a struggling side?

Can't see us bringing in a new striker and keeping our current 3 so Clarke out on loan?

Can't see anyone wanting our bad buys like Holmes or Carruthers, would we mutually agree to terminate?

Burnley have Mees Captain as their left side cb and his back up is a lad called Gibson who is also left pegged and cost them 20m I think

The only person at risk I think I would be Lundstram if we get 4 in rather than 3. Other than that I don’t think we can risk losing anyone.

Rumours that Washington is homesick so see how that pans out

Johnson back to Boro unless we took him on a season long loan and can't send him back. Let's hope Oxford can't send Carruthers back as he's been injured most of the time he's been there.

Pretty sure Johnson was only a loan until Jan, not loan to permanent.

Edit.....it was a season long loan..

These season long loans seem to come with a clause where the loan can be terminated if all parties agree. I don’t see Boro wanting to cancel so expect he is staying

Unless they receive an offer for him from elsewhere, which I read a few weeks ago they were open to...

Cranie, Johnson (unless permanent deal is agreed), Lundstram, Woodburn, Bryan (loan), Eastwood (loan). It's also not impossible to see the likes of Wright and Lafferty going out, but it'd be contingent on incomings. We'll probably just see a couple go out and a couple come in though.

Torn on him me, I credit him quite a lot with Stevens improvement but if Stevens was to pick up a long term Injury I think I’d find a quiet dark corner and cry for a while at the thought of him starting at LWB for us for any period of time.

With all this in mind what does that say about lafferty? (Added this bit) presume Lafferty is seen as cover for O’Connell actually

I think there'll be minimal outgoings in Jan. The squad isn't huge so why make it even smaller esp. whwn it's so difficult to get bodies in.

I think it far more likely the likes of Wright, Lafferty, Lundstram, Stearman will go in the summer.

Any outs will depend on what we bring in, we've got more or less 2 for each position. The senior players out on loan are finished here*, the younger ones should stay on loan.

GK: Henderson, Moore, Eastwood - Eastwood could go on loan, but we'd still probably want a decent 3rd keeper just in case.

RCB: Basham, Cranie - Probably the least square peg cover we've got, but unless we sign a replacement for Cranie, he'll probably stay.
CB: Egan, Stearman, Wright - Not sure there's any benefit to letting Wright go as he won't be costing much, Stearman going somewhere for first team football is possible, but we'd need to being someone in if that happens.
LCB: O'Connell, Bryan - Bryan is a mystery, he could probably do with getting some games somewhere, but other than Lafferty we've no other real options to cover here if Bryan goes on loan.

RWB: Baldock, Freeman - Both have their faults, but can't see either leaving.
LWB: Stevens, Johnson, Lafferty - Johnson's loan might end, Lafferty offers cover for a few positions but is unlikely to ever feature if Johnson stays.

DCM: Norwood, Coutts - A Bentley for everyday use, with a Rolls-Royce in the garage that you're not quite sure if it still goes.
CM: Fleck, Lundstram - A big drop in quality from one to the other, but Lundstram as an occasional backup player is fine, he could leave though, with Dowell covering this spot.
ACM: Duffy, Dowell, Woodburn - Hopefully Dowell can do what Woodburn never looked like doing, McGoldrick can cover here too. Little Ben can go play for Stevie G or something.

CF: Sharp, Clarke - Depending on who we bring in I guess there's a chance Clarke might be allowed to leave, but there's no obvious need to get rid.
CF: McGoldrick, Washington - We need someone like Washington in the squad, it doesn't necessarily need to be Washington himself, so if we bring in a striker with pace, he could be on his way as there'd be no chance of him ever making the bench.

*If something goes horribly wrong in the window, Ched as a backup striker is a possibility to bring back.

I can't see there being anything in it but rumours abound that JOC is a target of Steve Bruce's when he eventually signs on the dotted line for the pig's. 3 places he's looking to fill - one CB - one RB and one CF .

Lafferty might leave, seniorplayer not even on the bench

Yep, think it’ll be Lafferty and Wright certainly. I can’t see too many more leaving – Wilder didn’t say any loans were ending in January so it is possible Johnson & Woodburn may remain. He specifically said that all the players currently out on loan will be staying where they are too, so it’s not as though the issue of loan players didn’t get raised (which is why I think we might keep those currently on loan but out of the starting XI).

I think Bruce is holding out to see if Koranca gets sacked from Forest
