There are a lot of ways to watch the match now without going.
It's the same for every club but its really starting to make a dent in the attendances.

Very subdued. Not unexpected, unfortunately. Just normal.

Poor attendance, but as we know, there are stupid reasons for that.

Seeing the BLUT so empty is a hideous sight. Especially when the Leeds fans could've so easily filled it. What a fucking mess.

Why would it sell out? It's only Leeds, they only consider us a rival because there's nobody near them (geographically) of any substance.

Christ they still have massive hatred for Man U because they were once up there with the big boys. Clinging on to past success I suspect.

But yes, it was very quiet at times today, but it's up to the team to get us excited.

Three derbies in 4 matches takes it's toll would have more of an atmosphere if there was more of a build up with more games in between.Does any other team play 3 derbies with an away game in between.

The acoustics on our kop are shite. In fact the whole kop is shite.

As we only gave Leeds about 2k, over 25k for a 12.30 kick off on Sky isn’t too bad. And to be fair, there wasn’t too much in the match to get excited about.

I thought the support today was appalling. No noise at all. Poor numbers and Leeds fans made all the noise and superbly backed their team. I was really disappointed. The team deserved more today but it was like 20,000+ were half asleep.

Stood up on the Kop whilst we were taking a corner in the last ten only to be told to “Sit Darrn” by two people in the row behind..

The Kop needs a complete rebuild and safe standing introduced, but we’ve no magic money tree, and SAG will veto safe standing in Sheffield even when / if the government approves it.

Ticket restrictions wouldn't have helped, we had two more who wanted to come but didn't have the required membership numbers and points

It's the same fixtures in March but reversed f****** ridiculous

Just me who thought the atmosphere was dreadful today? Yes it's on Sky, but couldn't sell out for Leeds? Piss poor

Still nearly 1,500 more today that at S6 for the same fixture which was on Sky a few weeks ago.

Today we had 23,594 Blades watching the Leeds match.
The other week 22,117 Owls watched the Leeds match.

I was at work til 12, so I had no choice unfortunately, even though I had a ticket.

How much longer till the penny finally drops ?

Fans, across the country, don’t sing too much any more at home games cos they don’t fucking want to !! Simples.

You can have as many daft bands, drummers and singing “sections” as you like. It won’t work.

Give it up !!

UTB

Alright Nigel.

Well 3 season ticket holders I know watched it in the pub because it was raining.

If being on telly at 12:30 on a wet cold day can make them stay in the warm pub then you can imagine the effect on the walk-ups.

Yeah but you'll get the smug fuckers on here who will tell them that they could have got a ticket if they'd really tried, y'know, gone out of their way and circumvented the system just so they could hand their money over. The reality is anyone who wants your money these days has to fucking earn it, not the other way round.

DId you see the price of tickets? £31 for Kop and £33 if paying one the day, with £35 going up to £37 for either side stand. It is an absolute rip off and I would not be paying the prices that we often charge either if I did not have a season ticket.

Be interesting to see how these prices change if A) we get into the Premier and B) Prince gets full control of the club

Pre Xmas. On sky. 1230 kick off. If you’re in Sheffield that’s fine. For. Some of us it’s along way to go. Me I spent my match day money on a day in the Beavertown tap. Watching game in a variety of boozers that are struggling whilst spices are at Wembley. By the way there is no way that ground will open for 9 months.

So united my loyalty remains undimmed but other things can take my cash when what you offer doesn’t compete with other parts of my life.

For some heresy for some common sense. Don’t take us for granted.

Very true. Why are we turning down money? They would have brought double that if we’d allowed it.
