The article I read about Kean Bryan stated that he had refused to sign for Rangers as he wanted to keep his options open.
We do not have reliable cover at LCB and he could be an option to cover for JOC, who I would expect to move on next season if we do not get promotion. The same applies to Fleck.
It is subsequently either promotion or these two get sold to fund the club going forward next season.
Seems a sensible investment and I doubt very much he is anything like 2.5 million.

Can't argue with that. He certainly won't be coming in as cover. If this happens then I imagine that's it for O Connell

O’Connell is very good when high in confidence and will get even better as he plays against better players. He needs the step up as Maguire did to improve.
Every player is replaceable..I just rather not, and would rather benefit from these good players getting better as we get better.

JOC is by far the best we will ever get at this level. Ok he is only the best since Maguire but that's pretty good company to be in.
He's our spine, I would be devastated to lose him. Other than losing Fleck he would be the hardest to replace IMO.
