Chris Wilder is welcoming Unitedites intending on traveling to Portugal to watch an open training session.

Watch the Gaffer and his staff put the players through their paces in the Portuguese heat, as preparations for the 2018/19 Sky Bet Championship campaign intensify.

The session will be held at the training ground that is situated across from the Ria Park Garden Hotel (Avenida do Ancao, 8138-162 Almancil) on Wednesday 11th July, with a 10.30am start.

This is the hotel on google maps and can see the training fields just behind it:

Does not seem to be as luxurious as last year!

Could anybody attending please report back on here as to whose "legs have gone" for the coming season.

The wisdom of such fucking genuises was much appreciated last year.

Bit guttered really in Portugal now and go home on the 7th it's typical that I miss it by a week always been a ambition of mine to make one of these away games in a different country with a nice training session and been able to talk to a few of the players and make a good day of it.

Guttered it isn't a week earlier but thinking about it it wasn't going to be with the world cup going off as well. O well I'll make it to at least one at some point in my life hopefully, can imagine it been a brilliant day and get a proper chance of getting to talk to the players and wilder and the staff involved in making everything tick at the lane. Hope every one that is able to make it has a brilliant day and hope people take some pictures and share the day with us all.
